DONT ORDER RAMEN. The 4.6 stars sent me here while I was doing errands in the area. I was going to visit Shogun Sushi but instead I came here. Biggest regret of the day. The place was empty on a Sunday afternoon- which I should have already seen as a warning sign. We ordered the ramen, Miso and Korean, and they were both just so terrible. Korean ramen just had teriyaki beef on top and a few broccoli and they called it a day. My miso ramen was so bland I had to pour salt on it ten times, Still didn't fix the broth. The broth had no sign of miso in it. Is miso in the room with us? The egg was overcooked, the noodles of the Korean ramen was undercooked and the noodles on the two different bowls were different levels of cooked and honestly I would have made a better .79 ramen at home and I'm just so full of disappointment from the money we are about to spend to pay for this meal when we would have paid about the same amount if we went to shogun or even the hibachi grill buffet nearby. The broth was so miserable. I usually hate wasting food but I didn't even bother with my ramen, I didn't even want to take it home. I wouldn't even let my boyfriend pay the bill because I feel bad that he is spending his hard earned money on this. Oh yeah, they don't have chili garlic or anything chili but sriracha. The sushi probably might be better but they are way overpriced for any interesting enough rolls.

Order through DoorDash. Definitely now a regular. A one-stop shop to satisfy all of my cravings. Their garlic fried rice just ties everything together.

Stopped by for a quick work lunch. It's located in a strip mall in Carmichael. Very nice greeting and service during my meal. Not much ambiance but that's not why you come here. Good solid meal with ample portions and reasonably priced. I got the chicken teriyaki plate and paid an extra $3 to upgrade to fried rice. I enjoyed the small salad that came with the meal but only wished it was in a small bowl as cold salad and hot dishes on one plate never work well.

My husband and I are so happy to have found this small quaint place and absolutely one of the best Ramen place in Sac. The broths are packed with big flavour and their appetisers are amazing. I love the Unagi (Eel) rice and the Ajitsuke Tamago (marinated egg). My husband likes the Karaage Chicken and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Overall, the food is delicious, good portions and reasonably priced. Service is good, friendly and prompt. Highly recommended.

Boom! Kids' favorite place now for ramen and "shoe-she". Great service also. Only thing that I would change is stopcharging $1 extra to make my creamy chicken ramen, spicy. Please don't nickel and dime us. That said, my boys loved it and we will be back! The 'express' in the name sounds like lower quality but it's not! Great food!

We get take-out here all the time, and it's consistently good quality. My favorite is the Alaskan roll, and my husband likes the spicy popcorn chicken and Thai chicken meals. My picky kids enjoy the Avocado roll and just plain rice with soy sauce.I highly recommend giving their sushi a try. It's a simple restaurant with great food.

Great service. Lemon water was served before we even had to ask. Our picky eaters love the chicken teriyaki. We have our favorites here now after coming back a few times: Korean ramen, spicy gyoza, veggie tempura and the kids love the Japanese Ramune soda. Love it here!
