I'm afraid to admit I don't always leave reviews for quick-stop dessert/boba places but one experience stood out so much that I felt the need to!I've visited a few times and love their selection, I'm a huge taro fan and approve of everything taro that they have.Well I ordered their oh taro drink and when I got it, I poked a hole through the top and the cup popped from the side, and the whole drink gushed out onto the table and floor. Feeling silly and embarrassed at what happened, I told the employees and without hesitation they made me a new one and started cleaning up. Their attitude toward it was so genuine and positive that it was so relieving. So apart from the yummy treats I definitely want to give credit where it's due! To be honest this place is a bit out of the way but I hope they will always be busy and continue to serve our community their yummy treats and great, genuine service!

Our first time here, this place has quite a bit on their menu! I tried the Croquant Choux, which is a Japanese fried pastry with a cream sauce in the middle. I would give it a 7 out of 10. It had potential but there wasn't enough cream throughout the pastry so sections of it were just too dry and uninteresting. Way too expensive for what it was. I wouldn't have wanted to pay more than maybe $3 or $3.50The Hokkaido Milk soft serve had a nice and gentle/subtle flavor so it was nice in something like the Banana Cream (by itself it gets a little boring after a while). I want to go back and try one of the espresso drinks. I just didn't when I was there because it was late in the evening and I didn't want it to impact sleepy time! The shop itself is super aesthetic, great for "the gram" as the kids are saying.

12/31/24 - 3.5 stars. We had lunch nearby and wanted some beverage/dessert and Tokyo cream came up in our Yelp search feed with the strong reviews.Hubs ordered the strawberry mango sunrise and added lychee jelly. We didn't see any adjustment options and failed to ask but wasn't offered one either. As expected, It was really sweet. Oldest son by ordered the strawberry valentine and also said it was too sweet.Youngest son ordered the boba sundae and added strawberry hearts jelly. The staff advised that it may not fit in the cut and put it on the side for us.I ordered the Ube coffee. The espresso was similar to a Vietnamese drip coffee and was pretty strong but delish with the ube.I ordered (2) croquant choux pastry as the staff said they usually sell out and it's pretty known here. I thought it was served fresh and warm. A croquant choux is a crispy cream puff in the shape of a long eclair and it was ok. Staff was overall nice. Ambiance is very hip and can attract the younger generation for pic opportunities.

From teas to creams, you will be satisfied with this dessert spot. I love the interior. There are many places to sit but due to popularity, this place can get packed! From couches to stools, and really good lighting and art for pics, this place is awesome. There's kiosks to order and the cashier also takes orders. I got the Black Sesame Swirl which is made with black sesame and activated charcoal swirl with Hokkaido milk. My husband got Honey 3 which is Hokkaido milk soft serve, honey cube, and local raw honey. We each enjoyed our choice! I can't wait to go back to check this place out and perhaps get a tea and soft serve next time I am back in Roseville. There's plenty of parking so all you have to do is go in and enjoy.

We finally made it in to Tokyo Cream. We were immediately greeted and the employees were very helpful answering questions. We ordered few different things to try! My daughter wanted the boba drink with cotton candy (duh! Who wouldn't?). I ordered the affigato (wish was absolutely delish!). And we also got the black (sesame) soft serve. Super cute but not our cup of tea. Next time I'm trying the banana coffee!!!!

This was my first time trying Tokyo Cream. I purchased the black sesame swirl cone and the Mystichrome GT. I enjoyed my treats a lot. The black sesame was yummy and the drink was great. I'm not for overly sweet drinks, this one was a great balance that went well. I will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.

My friend told me about this spot and I had to come try it out myself. I was going to be in Roseville so why not??? I tried their specialty drinks. And wow!!! It was amazing!!! I got the Banana and the flavor was out of this world. It tasted like a real banana cream pie in a drink. The banana wasn't overpowering and it was the right amount of sweetness. It is a great sweet treat!!! I love how all the flavors complement each other. The espresso wasn't too much. The service is great. My friend and I went at a good time. We went around 2:45 or 3 and it wasn't packed. However, it got pretty busy. The servers are helpful and friendly. They will get you your drink as soon as possible. The ambiance is super cute. I love the feeling of being in Japan. The artwork on the walls is so beautiful. It was simple but very eye-catching. I wish there was one near me. But I will come here again when I am in Roseville

Delicious soft serve! I like when ice cream locations offer "Asian" flavors like matcha and ube so Tokyo Cream was already on my good side from Day 1 when I first visited (over 2 years ago). I don't often stop by Roseville because I feel like the Asian options aren't worth the drive for me from Arden-Arcade but Tokyo Cream is a must go-to dessert location almost every time I go to Roseville (I say "almost" because I don't always crave dessert but when I do in Roseville, this is where I go).I feel like some of the flavors taste similar but because they all taste good, I'm not too picky or mindful that they don't taste authentically like black sesame or ube, etc. I just want to enjoy a good soft serve that looks pretty. The drinks are good too but getting a soft serve and drink is usually too filling for me so I usually only come for the soft serve.Like most boba shops, this location also offers self-service to order at a kiosk but you also have the option to speak to a cashier and order, especially if you have any questions, they're pretty helpful.I love the aesthetic of the place. If you like taking photos of food or selfies, the inside of the place is very visually pleasing with a black and white [beehive] theme. It might be a bit too bright when the lights are on, but otherwise, a nice place to enjoy soft service with friends.I've included photos taken from different visits over the course of 2+ years.I recommend stopping by!
