Tokon Fit and Fun Samurai Summer Camp

Family oriented, great place for kiddos in the community to feel safe and learn skills and stay active. We love this dojo and love the yoga classes available. Definitely support this business - it's a valuable asset here in Natomas.

My kid love it hear! Seinsei's are knowledgeable and teach the kids many points in life which I see as important. The classes are tough but not too tough where a kids can be turned off. I think the seinsei's do a great job and have fun doing what they love.

This is my son's second year at Samurai camp. He absolutely loves it and comes home tired everyday! I decided to try it out because he was being picked on by kids and I wanted him to make new friends and try something new. I love that they do stretching, games, art projects, and self defense. By the end of the first week he had already learned a lot of karate and asked to go back. After the second week I decided to do all the sessions and ended up enrolling him in the dojo the last 2 years. He still loves camp and is growing to be a sweet, strong, artistic, kind, and respectful young boy. If you ask him, his favorite part of camp are the games and karate. What a great summer program! Definitely worth the money, plus it's an all day camp so I don't have to find a sitter to pick him up while I'm at work.

My daughter was really apprehensive about attending camp after being home for so long, but I knew that she really needed get some physical activity in her daily routine and make some new friends; and the camp seemed perfect. Well it was!! After the first day she could not stop talking about all the activities they did and how much she enjoyed all of them. She was even excited about working out, and could not wait to show us all the new exercises (or actually make us do it)!! If we didn't have a scheduling conflict, we would sign up for one more week!!! I think there's still a few spots for next week (June 21st), sign your kiddo up now!

My child has been taking Karate classes at Tokon for several years and has also attended the samurai camps for the last few years. This a fun day camp with lots of opportunity for both structured and unstructured play and movement. The instructors are experienced with children and work hard at keeping children safe and entertained.

I have been taking my son to this summer camp for the past four years. They are thoroughly engaged all day with activities ranging from board games, arts and crafts, legos, athletic conditioning and martial arts. The instructors work very well with varying age groups and ability levels. They give great conditioning classes and give very helpful stranger danger tips appropriate for my little one. He has absolutely enjoyed this camp every year and he was exhausted by the time he got home from all the activities! I highly recommend this summer camp for any parent looking for an active summer day camp.
