Craving a nice sandwich for a late lunch, my sister and I stopped by the infamous Timmy Gingers for the first time. I chose The Angry Ginger to share because it's big. It's a meaty sandwich that has too many flavors when you read the description but it really works! We also ordered their roast beef Classic Dip with Au Jus to go for my mom. She said she really loved it. The amount of vegan options is vast so my next visit I will try their vegan pulled pork and the options featuring The Butcher's Son deli "meats."Ambiance was entertaining...there's a lot to read and it kinda gives you a glimpse into the mindset of the eponymous proprietor. Service was friendly too. The young man who took our order gave us the run down and answered all our questions with a smile. We opted to eat in and the dining tables were clean and the bathroom was tidy.Now that I work in Roseville I can't wait to return for lunch.

Here is my two cents on the quality quantity of my sandwich.I was treated to a hot link sandwich. I was surprised because the link itself was sliced up and very thin slices . it was a little spicy, but not very hot.. it also was very lean , more lean than I expected..As everyone knows that is where the flavor is ...The bun was fresh. They had tomato a pickle some onions mayonnaise. .I was a little bit disappointed because it only had one very thin slice of tomato and one or two slices of pickle .And for $15, I thought it was expensive but everything is expensive nowadays I think this is more of a vegan place than for a real hard-core foodie like myself .. butIf you're in the area, I definitely would give it a try

Needed a vegan dinner before a show. I have always wanted to this place and finally did!It was hard to choose with so many options!Had to get the Mac n cheese, as well as a special!Delicious, messy, and pretty worth the hype.A side comment, the bread may have been a bit much for my tastes but still yum.Yay for vegan options with creativity behind the flavors.The location is tucked away in a Roseville shopping center with plenty of parking.We got take out aka did not eat on premises.

Took me almost a year to return for my second visit but my experience this second time was much, much better than my first. Husband and I shared a BLAT on toasted sourdough bread and a bag of chips. The sandwiches are one size of 7-8" and the toasted bread on the BLAT was incredibly fresh and yummy. The Maui chips was a nice complement to the sammie.I'm not vegan but the menu was extensive with plenty of vegan options. Let me first start off by saying that the owner or manager is the nicest person ever. He is so kind and goes above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and to make his customers happy. That alone these days is hard to find. Now for my sandwich. I ordered the #3 and added a side of au jus. The sandwich was so darn good. I went back for a second one and the same week. If you're in the area this is a must try.

first five star review of 2025, and i couldn't see it being any other spot. timmy gingers sandwich shop is so great, and i can't believe it took me this long to come here. it's a in a great area with tons of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. when you walk in, you're immediately hit with a huge menu -- truly something for everyone (even the pickiest of eaters)! not only do they serve sandwiches, but salads, even nachos! i decided to go with a classic turkey with everything and dang, don't sleep on that garlic sauce. a true rollercoaster for your taste buds; thank me later. we also got the #14 which was fantastic! the perfect combo of salty and sweet. their bread is pillowy soft and the sourdough had the perfect tang. the decor inside is great too! my red headed boyfriend got a kick out of it. HIGHLY recommend timmy gingers sandwich shop, and already looking forward to coming back to try something new *insert drool emoji*.

They always have delicious sandwiches. I like that they have both vegan and meat options so both my husband and I can eat there together. The sandwiches are pricey but it's worth it because they're huge and they have high-quality ingredients. I get a different sandwich each time and I'm never disappointed!

Best Sandwiches around Timmy Ginger's is not fully vegan, I do wish he was. However he has the best vegan sandwiches I have ever had. The best sandwiches. The flavors are on point! Fresh ingredients! Fair price. Seriously if you're in Roseville stop by! He keeps all the food separated even the veggies for vegans it's all on its own side. He gets some of his vegan meats from The Butcher's Son restaurant in Berkeley. No cross contamination Good price/fantastic sandwiches Excellent service Atmosphere is always welcoming

When driving around for work, it is hard to find good vegan options let alone great ones, but when I checked out Timmy Gingers, I was blown away. While it is not a vegan sandwich shop, about everything on the menu has a vegan counterpart. Speaking of the menu, it is massive, with not only a huge variety of sandwiches, but lots of specials like loaded nacho and "dirty mac", again almost everything has a vegan option available. After talking with Timmy, who is a 1 man show (please be patient as he does it all himself), he informed me that everything is freshly made and he sources only the best ingredients, and also makes all of his own bread (vegan too)! He is very friendly, but since he is running the whole shop by himself, do know that the time he spends on the meals is worth any wait. Please check this hidden gem out! I will be back.
