Chef Perry and his wife made an amazing dinner for 8 to celebrate my wife's birthday. Incredible appetizers and dinner followed by a tres lece cake that was one of the best we've ever had. They brought all their supplies and left our kitchen spotless. Great experience which all our guests loved!

Truly an excellent experience. Chef Perry and his wife did a great job. I've never hired a personal chef. Chef Perry was easy to work with and had several great menus to choose from. I requested something Spanish inspired and he made both a vegetarian version of Paella and a traditional Paella and my clients were very happy with the presentation, service and quality of the entire menu. It couldn't have gone any better and we'll have great memories of this evening.

I have eaten food prepared by Perry and his wife Janine a few times now. It is always fresh and delicious. The appetizers were great and the cheesecake is amazing. They are warm and friendly and always get right to work. I would recommend Thyme is Precious for a large or small event. They will make it so you can enjoy your party instead of spending it in the kitchen.

Amazing Chef and and excellent experience! My company was performing work in a remote area of Northern Cali and we hired Chef Perry to develop the menu plan, bring all cooking requirements, and cook all meals for the crew throughout the week. Not only were the meals top notch, he was able to plan around our ever changing work day (not an easy task); he was even able to accommodate a few members of our crew that have dietary restrictions. The crew loved every meal he planned and cooked! They especially loved the tri tip, cheesecakes, and eggs benedict!!I would highly recommend Chef Perry without reservation and intend to utilize his services for all upcoming work in northern Cali

Chef Perry just left my parents' house after a last minute plan for my dad's 75th birthday. I was diagnosed with Covid this week, and so we couldn't get together to celebrate his big 75. I called Chef Perry on Tuesday, to plan an event for Saturday knowing it would be a long shot. But he was so friendly from the beginning, very accommodating, wanting to help me do something special for my dad. His menu selections and suggestions were amazing. My mom said if she had eaten in a restaurant she'd have never been able to get such a personalized and delicious menu. They had garlic chili prawns, spinach salad, orange rosemary crusted filet mignon with risotto with white wine and creminis and citrus roasted asparagus followed by mint chip cheesecake for dessert. They couldn't get over the mustard balsamic salad dressing, how tender the filet mignon was (my dad said it may be the most tender he has ever had), and the cheesecake! My dad just laughed when he mentioned they still had some left over for later! Chef Perry set the table with rose petals, he washed their dishes after. It was a perfect birthday celebration for my dad. There aren't enough words to thank Chef Perry for giving them this gift. Do not hesitate to hire him for any of your events, you will not regret it!

Amazing Chef! For the past year, my family has enjoyed Chef Perry's personal Chef services and it has been a lifesaver​. Not only do we receive phenomenal meals that are on par with high-end restaurants, but we now have plenty of time to sit at the table and enjoy dinner as a family. Initially, I had concerns that our family might get bored with a personal chef due to a lack of variety; however, Chef Perry has done an incredible job producing a constant variety of fresh new meals. Given some of the allergies, dietary restrictions, and food preferences within our household, it's truly amazing that he keeps the menu as interesting as he does. Oh, and it is worth mentioning that this guy makes the best cheesecake you've ever had.

My son and his wife decided to surprise me with a dinner for two prepared By Chef Perry at our home. It was an outstanding culinary experience!!! The food exceeded my expectations, and I can't even decide which I enjoyed the most...the appetizer,(Pear and Goat cheese Pancetta), the Clam Chowder (best I've EVER had), Salmon Wellington (a treat for the eyes and the palette), or the Crème Brûlé ....YUM!!!Rose petals were spread on the table and our bottle of wine was opened ahead of time to breathe a bit. Chef Perry is truly passionate about his cooking and enjoys people as well. Oh, and I must mention that he left my kitchen immaculately clean when he was finished!!!I'm planning to gift Thyme is Precious to another person/party/couple so they can enjoy this experience as much as we did.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Chef Perry. He was the chef for our wedding and I'm still dreaming about the meal. We heard amazing feedback from all of our guests and were told several times that it was the best meal our guests had ever had at a wedding. I wish I could relive the meal all over again. I will definitely contact Chef Perry for any future events that needs catering. I also had him make the cheesecakes for our wedding. AMAZING. The absolute best cheesecake I have ever had. He has a ton of flavors and options and definitely knows what he is doing. I would recommend Chef Perry over and over again!

We had such a great experience with Chef Perry McCown. He prepared a fabulous dinner for 6 for us. The food was very yummy and just perfectly prepared and presented. Our guests were very impressed. Chef Perry did all of the prep, cooking, plating, and clean up. All we had to do was smile every time he brought us another course. Overall and very fun, entertaining night with high quality food and service. Nice Work Chef Perry!
