Love this location. The staff are always so friendly and super helpful!! They always greet me when I come in and very knowledgeable about the products and inventory. The store is always clean and organized and they have a great variety! They always have specials on different brands of protein powder too.

Excellent location with excellent employees and excellent customer service. Great product selection. Located in the same shopping center as Sprouts so you can also buy healthy food nearby or price compare with their vitamin section. They also have a farmers market Saturday mornings.Best thing is this place is dog friendly which I appreciate. The other Arden location not so much. I host a pop up stand here for health coaching and manager Tim is the nicest guy and super accommodating.Go Saturdays for dollar energy drinks! Don't develop a habit like I did though that stuff adds up.

In the Target shopping center in Laguna in Elk Grove. I have been here a handful of times, every time I've been here I've been greeted and helped by a cordial person at the front who led me to the specific supplement/product I was looking for. They have some harder to find supplements (last time I was here for pure standardized milk thistle extract) and I've bought Dr. Bronner's sal suds here (great natural all purpose cleaner). There is a large body building supplement section (not that I have any idea what these supplements and protein powders are, but it looks like the selection could not be matched!). Decent prices and excellent choices.

I love the customer service that Anderson & Peter aka Taco Bell gave me lol! They were very informative and it helped me with my decisions to purchase my products.. keep it up guys.

I hadn't visited this store in a while, only because I was going to my local GNC or Walmart for my supplements, and this store was a little out of my way. Then, I ran out of BioSil which GNC decided to stop offering. I was very disappointed with their excuse of not carrying it because so many other stores have it available elsewhere. Have they even checked other stores?Well I have, and that's not the case! That's when I remembered "The Vitamin Shoppe" and drove straight there like I was on a mission! Needless to say, they had plenty in stock. I also bought a few other products that I had always wanted to try, such as Derma-E serum skin care and some probiotics.Besides having a successful shopping endeavor, I felt really relaxed checking the rest of the store. Health and wellness is what it is all about.  You'll find just about everything here in supplement form and in multiple strengths. Vitamins, herbs, protein shakes, homeopathic products, holistic alternatives, cosmetics, hair and skin care.  Even if your specific brand isn't here, there are alternatives that work just as well.  I love to take my time and browse the aisles of inventory.  There is plenty to see and study.  Making those select purchases can add up fast, but their prices are competitive and if you sign up for their emailing list, you get weekly announcement specials and coupons, along with their monthly shipment plans. Ready to make some changes to your life?  The Vitamin Shoppe is there to help!

I can't rave enough or fail to give a "shout out" for this vitamin shop! A sales guy named Tim is a wealth of knowledge about any question you may have about everything in his store! I would never go anywhere else for health needs or info in that realm! Thank you, Tim! He never disappoints!

I have been meaning to write this review for a couple of weeks. No matter the delay, I can't miss the opportunity to share such a wonderful experience while visiting and shopping at this store/location. My mother and I enjoyed excellent customer service not only from the team but especially from Tim, the store manager. Super friendly and professional! My mother is 87, and he showed the utmost patience towards her and I, as well as provided a wealth of information we were seeking. I am so impressed with how consistent the store in Elk Grove and even the one on Sunset in Henderson, Nevada, is committed to knowledge based and helpful service. Thank you, Tim! Please keep up the great work! We pray you have continued success!

Fifteen years ago (wow time has wings) when I first started strength training, a gullible me walked into my local GNC and paid full price for every supplement that the GNC employee recommended. Until a friend referred me to Bodybuilding.com, I didn't realize how expensive stores like GNC and The Vitamin Shoppe were. Fast forward to 2019, in order to compete with online supplement stores, a majority of brick and mortar stores have implemented the use of coupon codes + in-store pickup options. Therefore, when I needed to replenish my supply of Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard 100% Whey protein (one of the highest rated protein supplements on the market), I jumped at the opportunity to save some cash. Before entering the physical store, I did the following: I identified that my local Vitamin Shoppe store had the item in stock for in store pickup, I placed the item in my virtual shopping cart, I found an online coupon code on Retailme Not (one of my favorite coupon code sites), entered the code (which saved me $10), selected the option of picking the item up from my local Vitamin Shoppe, and completed the checkout process. Roughly 45 minutes later I received an email notifying me that my order was ready. When I arrived I was immediately greeted by the store Assistant Manager David. Due to David's stellar customer service (and memory), he remembered me from a previous in store pickup. David encouraged me to sign up for a The Vitamin Shoppe rewards member account, so that I could accumulate reward points that would eventually allow for me to further save (on top of the online coupon codes) on my future purchases. Aside from the aforementioned interaction, I have observed other The Vitamin Shoppe staff assisting customers by providing personal recommendations of their favorite supplements. It's good to know that staff have a personal relationship with the products that they sell, and possess knowledge regarding popular products (outside of the information provided on product labels)!

Went to the local Vitamin Shoppe to buy some Fiber, that I have been taking for years. The Representative recommended Garden of Life Fiber Raw Organic approximately $40.00. For the price, I thought that It would be the best or work well. Now, I am almost finished with the jar and feel I have experienced better products. Does not support bowel regularity.
