One of the best open late night Asian eateries -open til 1am! Its right beside the casino so sometimes parking does get packed on certain days. They serve Southeast Asian fare and all reasonably priced. I always order a soup dish like their curry noodle soup Kapoon or their Khao soi pho soup. I adore their broth flavors as its quite authentic and flavorful. The Kapoon is savory and coconuty and the khao soi here is served with the thick wide pho noodles, which I prefer too. There are other places that serves it with egg noodles.Their appetizer selection is great too. Their meat salad (laab) was flavorful and nutty from the roasted rice powder.Their fried chicken appetizer was crispy and delicious and their papaya salad can be served either Thai or Lao style. I got the Lao style and it satiated my cravings. It's always good every time I'm here. I forget to take photos when the food is too good lol.

So I guess I haven't this place before. If you are a night-owl, then you need to check this place out. They are open pretty late, which is a huge plus for me, especially since I get out late from work. Hubby will ask me what's for dinner, and I will sometimes tell him Pho! So although their pho isn't necessarily my number one go to, it is the best late at night and it really hits "the spot", so to speak. I also really like the shrimp rolls as my appetizer, hubby really enjoys the angel wings. The place can be pretty busy since it is one of the few restaurants open super late. The place has a couple of TV's where you can watch music videos or sports. Late at night there seems to be only 1 server/cashier, so be patient. These guys aren't fast food.I come here quite frequently, and will continue since they are the only late night pho option.

The Spot Restaurant is the place to eat for late night Lao food and soup or Southeast Asian craving. I've been coming here for years and they've been consistently good. Waiters are friendly and easy to get a hold of. The food comes out 5-10 minutes later. The location is at the back of several other buildings but not to worry, it's safe enough to park and my group and I never had a problem.Everything I've ever ordered at The Spot has tasted authentic and as expected. The prices are average with the market and the quantity is reasonable. They have music typically playing but it's low enough to hear each other. At the time of this review, we ordered the following:Beef Pho with veggiesShrimp RollAngel WingsSticky Rice

Everything we ordered was incredible! We shared the Kapoon, Angel Wings, Papaya Salad, Lao Sausages, Vietnamese Beef, and Chicken Larb, family style. The Papaya Salad was a standout--served with vermicelli noodles and shredded cabbage, it was bursting with flavor, perfectly spicy, and incredibly refreshing. I'm still craving it as I write this! The Kapoon soup was excellent, reminiscent of Tom Yum. It's a must-try!The Lao Sausage was so delicious that if we hadn't ordered so much food, we would have definitely gotten more. It had a great flavor with just the right amount of kick. The Chicken Larb was wonderfully refreshing with a zesty lemon flavor. The Vietnamese Beef was the highlight of the meal, with fantastic flavor that paired perfectly with sticky rice. The Angel Wings came with a side of sweet and sour soup, but be sure to ask for their homemade tomato sauce--it's far superior to the bottled version.

It's almost noodle season. I can't wait for the cold weather. When I get tired of ramen I come here and get my thai curry noodle fix. I really love the khapoon here. .Khapoon is like a thai red curry base for the broth and some rice vermecielli noodles. Comes with chicken meat, bean sprouts and mint leaves. Love the spice tray on the table to dress it up. I like adding the home made chili oil and tamarind powder. .The tamarind powder makes it sour to even out the spicy from the chili oil. It's just a great balance and pairing with the noodles. Don't forget to add the col refreshing beansprouts to bring the fire and sour down with nice touch of crunch of beansprouts. The mint leaves add a aromatic flavor to the overall experience and resets the taste bud for more. .I like how there is plenty of parking. Also the kings theme inside. They even have a full bar so if you love to have a nice drink with your meal they got you. Overall this spot is a hidden gem for some great khapoon, sticky rice, stuffed chicken wings and more. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day. Follow me for more.

I love seeing Mien food spots pop up around the city!Best items I had were the chicken laarb, Lao sausages, and papaya salad. The chicken Laarb was super juicy and moist. It's quite spicy because of the Thai chili peppers. 5/5Lao sausage was juicy and flavorful. Delicious with the tomato-y pepper sauce they paired it with. 4/5Papaya salad was cut up great and was Lao style so extra funky, which I loved! 4.5/5Cream cheese wontons had a thick skin and lacked filling 2/5The meatballs were good, but nothing special: 2/5Angel wings had minimal filling, it was basically eating a regular chicken wing. 1/5The restaurant was dimly lit at night and they had a bar with beer on tap. The service was great, they let me try all the beers on tap and the waitress checked in on us frequently for water and to see how our food was.

I love Laotian food, the spot is just okay to me. It's not the best but it's not bad. I ordered the angel wings that were just okay , their laos sausage I enjoyed as well as their papaya salad spicy. I like how this place has a full bar also. I enjoyed their shrimp rolls and calamari also. All in all I would come back

Meatballs were so little for a price of 9.50 12 pieces you can go to shy Asian store around and grab a pack of meatballs for 6 dollars 2 times bigger steak it boil it and fry it. Shake my head. what a total to off and don't taste as good. These are the size of a popcorn chicken
