The Smart Axe - Roseville

Awesome date location! It was super easy to reserve a time slot and they were even flexible when I was a few minutes late. Definitely grab a drink before you get started--they offer a great selection of beers on tap and in cans. Jason showed us the basics of throwing and we got to it. Honestly, neither of us had a talent for it, but it was fun nonetheless and time just flew by. Jason felt a little sorry for us I think and came by with a throwing knife for us to try--I found it very fun to throw and was much more successful with it. Great staff and a fantastic time. Stop by (no reservation needed) for their buy 1 get 1 throwing special on Tuesday and Thursday!

We came here with our work team to celebrate the retirement of one of our buddy's and we had a blast. Nick was very helpful and friendly and even let us taste a couple of beers that he recommended before we purchased it. He had a great sense of humor and was very informative and mindful that not all of us have thrown axes before. We will definitely be back when we are able to get together again. Nick needs a raise!

Great place to hang, throw axes, and grab a beer. Solid selection of draft beers and canned. Something for everyone. The staff is excellent and friendly. Very helpful in providing advice to throw the axe on target. Fun, easy going place. Will definitely visit again.

I took my husband here for father's day, he's always wanted to do this after checking other places this place had great reviews, we had a great time! We were greated when walking tru the door we were also instructed how to trow an axe ,highly recommend!!!!

A fun time learning to throw the ax! They have group games and other fun activities and give you plenty of time. The walkthrough is super fast so don't miss it. Throw the dang ax and have fun.

I used to go to the sunrise smart axe every week. This is my favorite hobby. Dane is really laid back. Let me choose my lane. Checked up on me every 15 min. If I needed anything. He actually helped me adjust my axe throwing a little bit. If I wanted to become apart of the axe throwing league. I CAN, I just choose not too.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The spot has great vibes, fun times, and a super friendly staff, Nick was great! The location is perfect, l Highly recommend for anyone looking to try something new or just have a blast with friends! 5 stars all the way!

Great fun, great prices, and great customer service from the two gentlemen with J names. We originally went to Top Golf but their wait was too long. As we were driving to find some pizza, we saw this place and stopped in. Glad we did. Not only was there no wait, it was very affordable (more so than golf), and us two adults and even our teenager had a fun time together (if you have a teen, you know that is saying a lot :)). The hour is actually a perfect amount of time. I also liked how they had adult beverages.
