The Sandwich Spot

The sandwiches here are amazing! My wife and I have been here many times and it never disappoints. It's not usually too crowded so service is quick, although it can slow down if there's a couple people in line. Restaurant is usually clean and snug - not a ton of places to eat.

I ordered a turkey club with gluten free bread but I was told they were all out so instead I got a gluten free wrap. The gluten free wrap tasted amazing I was pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was loaded with meat and cheese, but it was missing the mystery sauce I was unable to taste it. Since I ordered online there was no way for someone to ask me if the gluten was a preference or allergy but there is a notes box where you can add special request.

Small laiitlr sandwhich shop frequented by all the local business people. Great sandwich selections and oh, the bread is outstanding. Ordered a roast beef in Danish crunch bread. Fantastic!Friendly and warm service!

I stopped going here because the foreign lady that makes the sandwiches is rude and adds very little meat. The ownership obviously changed for the worse.

We ordered the Pastrami Melt and Mikey Likes It. The sandwiches were just ok. The Curtis park location on Freeport has many more options and although the sandwiches were a few dollars more they at least packed your sandwiches full with more meat, and ingredients. At this location, they did not have one similar to the Freeport location called The Newbie so we chose their Pastrami Melt which gives you a "choice of cheese" but unfortunately Cream Cheese is extra.. Their Mikey Likes it is similar to the Hollywood Park at the Freeport location. Once we received our sandwiches we noticed they also lacked in size compared to the other locations around Sacramento. This location may be separately owned however they have competition with other Sandwich Spots locally. On the plus side, we were greeted by the employees right when we came in which was very welcoming, and they were ready to assist with any questions we had.

My husband and I stopped in here after arriving to Sacramento Airport and boy am I glad I found this DIAMOND IN THE RUFT! I ordered the Night Walker and hubby tried the Da Big Brudda and I have to say this was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life!!! It was stacked with incredibly delicious ingredients and it was made and assembled perfectly! Nothing is worse than a sloppy sammie but the Sandwich Spot made it perfect!!! I'll be stopping back on my way back to the airport!

Sandwiches were good, but not happy with the false advertising through Five Stars. "Said free sandwich combo with sub purchase." Poorly worded as there is no free sub with the purchase of a sub. It's only a free drink and chips that saves you $2.50 or so. If that's the case, you should label your promos as "free chips and drink with sub purchase" and not "free sandwhich combo with sub purchase" because you're not actually getting a combo. It wasn't worth the drive, honestly. Deceptive marketing practices aren't cool.

Just ok. We were craving a sandwich and remembered that the rancho Cordova location used to have great food. So, we tried this Natomas location - not the same. The employee working the counter was friendly and quick. But the owner, she looked pissed - like the whole time. Anyways, the food was just ok. Sandwiches are on the leaner side not like they picture them to be. No fountain drinks or water cups. You can only buy a bottled drink. Just meh and I won't be coming back to this location. I'll make the drive to Rancho.

A large delicious sandwhich with the freshest tasting ingredients. far outperforms the usual sandwhich spots like subway and togo's and the cookie was great to boot. seen right away and felt like a great sandwhich spot because of the decorations. 10/10 will come again

Nothing special about these sandwiches. I got a sandwich on sliced sourdough and the bread was dry. There was probably not even 1 ounce of turkey on the sandwich. OK maybe. But that's it. No bueno.
