The Protein Place

After meaning to try this place for ages I finally did it! My teenage football player and I stopped by yesterday for my lunch and his pre workout snack. It's absolutely everything I thought and needed it to be. Tons of options for macro friendly meal replacements, post workout shakes or something extra depending on what you're looking for.Lots of flavors to choose from. Chocolate and delicious? Yep! Fun and fruity? You bet! And what I absolutely love the very most is their customer service. Such a sweet couple working hard to make you smile and make you a sweet treat. Even better when the treat keep you on the path to your protein goals! Looking forward to my next visit already.

Yum! I got the Java chip protein smoothie and it was amazing. Just the right amount of sweetness. I'm excited to go back and try some other items.

Wanted to check this location out, but they were closed. Came back next day and long wait time, strange waiting area, cold inside and my order was prepared incorrectly. After the second order, we drove back home and tried our bowls and not the greatest. Just tastes so fake, the ingredients are just too sweet and the protein powder overpowers everything. Not for me.

I love this protein focused breakfast/shake restaurant. Their waffles, donuts, and bowls are all freaking delicious. The owners are very engaging and they love to get feedback on their offerings, even letting us try their upcoming offerings before they put them on the menu, which is very awesome and shows how much they care about what they're serving to the customers. The interior doesn't have much seating at all, so plan to take it to go or eat it in your car. It's very hard to find a place like this in the Sacramento/Citrus Heights Region, so very happy to have discovered this place!

Customer service amazing and so is the smoothie. I got the peanut butter cookie, love it. Low calorie and sugar content

All Protein and Sugar FreeI follow The Protein Place in Instagram and have been meaning to try the delicious items on their menu. Waffles, Donuts, Açaí Bowls, Shakes plus more... yes, please! It's a little bit out of my way so I had to plan my visit since they close shop before I get off work on my less busy days -- Thursdays and Fridays. They had just recently opened late last year, 12/1/22, I finally made it here this past weekend. The interior is modern and very clean. Nice aesthetics. The menu had a lot of options. A bit on the pricey side. I ordered the Strawberry Banana Power Bowl. They were generous on the serving and the fruits were fresh. Daughter loved her Fruity Pebbles shake (#30). It was a tall cup and she finished it all. Employees were helpful and friendly. I'd come back again to try the shake. Review #2938

LOVE THIS PLACE. As a gym goer, I like to keep up with my daily protein intake which I find really hard when going out for food with friends. At The Protein Place they have a variety of different desserts that are high in protein and delicious. I feel like this place would be a nice place to go after a good workout as well. The acai bowl I got was filling and delicious. However the strawberry tea was alright, nothing special. Customer service is good, they were very nice and patient. The inside looked very nice as well, it had a nice little waiting area with a couch.

The owners were soo kind and accommodating. Plus amazing food. We tried the acai bowl, the donut and shake. All 10/10

my boyfriend and I tried this place today and we were impressed! the menu is really big and has so many yummy flavors. I got the Recess post workout shake with soy protein and my boyfriend got the Cookies & Cream post workout shake with whey protein!!! we will definitely be back
