The Pour Choice

Coffee was really good and affordable. My sister got the Spice Latte, which I liked. I got the Brown Sugar Latte, which I also like. I got the Smoked Trout on Toast. It had beets and a herb (or scallion) spread. It was really good. Pretty expensive. But for the amount of smoked trout that was on it, it was worth it. The coffee shop was so spacious and beautiful. I would study there. I'll definitely be back.

Love this place!!! Beautiful location! Parking can be tricky but it's worth it!! Wish they still had organic maple syrup. But they almost always have honey. Trying to eat REAL food

I visited this coffee shop in Newcastle off of I-80 for the first time today, as I am visiting from out of state. The coffee shop was fairly convenient off of I-80, the outside of the shop was decently decorated, inside the same, the employees were averagely friendly, they served me quickly, delivered my muffin to me upstairs within minutes, my coffee was good, banana bread delicious, the dining room upstairs and downstairs were decorated quite plainly, and the seats were uncomfortable after an hour of sitting. The prices were expensive.

I came here right before the lunch rush on a Sunday morning and they were busy! The parking around the area can get full so be warned that you may not find a spot close by. They were definitely understaffed and kept apologizing for the inconvenience. The staff tho had a great attitude and glad that they kept encouraging each other. They were super friendly and nice. Do not let the long line deter you, they worked very quickly and you will get your order! The space for this cafe is beautiful. Very hipster and the music has a great beat and bass. The ambience is loud and busy, but fun. A lot of seating by the entrance on barstools, inside, second floor, balcony and outdoor patio. The drinks here are very pretty and aesthetically pleasing. If you're looking for a fancy coffee with latte art, look no further! The taste of the drinks tho are hit-or-miss. The spiced apple cider I got for my mom was delicious and I would recommend. It had the just the right amount of sweetness and was the perfect fall drink. The golden turmeric elixir was very bland and I would skip for next time. It was disappointing for a $6 8 oz. drink. I thought the pastries would get heated up, but they get served to you cold. Just a warning.. I feel like that affected the enjoyment of the pastries. But the food that went by me looked delicious. If you can, eat there rather than taking something to go. I would recommend this place for a girls catch-up date and if you want to hear each other better, bundle up and check out the outdoor seating.

I LOVE their coffee beans especially their decaf. It's a great satisfying coffee for us caffeine challenged. I've been ordering their coffee beans online and having them shipped to me. Recently I gotten behind on ordering and decided to buy some from their booth at a farmers market. That went fantastic. At the farmers market I was told about The Pour Choice. We decided to go to Auburn for a rummage sale AND coffee from The Pour Over.I was put off by the line situation. There's really no where to stand where you're not in the way. Tables behind you. Stairs to outdoor dining in front and to the right. People needing to get to the left past you to the back of cafe. People needing water past the line from outside. I almost felt like I was square dancing. About every 30 seconds to a minute someone needed to go around me, through me, in front of me, do si do. By the time I was at the register I order 2 drinks I knew took no waiting just to get the heck out of there. Black coffee and a nitro cold brew. Both came right away at the register. Hallelujah!Both were good and we enjoyed them on their fabulous patio. They allow dogs on the patio a plus for us. They also have a balcony with a fantastic view.I love that they have a lot of business, but the queue needs some work.

Came here for breakfast / their coffee. I've been here at least 4 times now and they never disappoint with their delicious coffee! Consistent with the coffee taste & the light sweetness. The wrap was a tad bit sour for my stomach in the morning but it would be perfect for lunch! Their customer service is the right amount of friendly and not overbearing for a morning since it's before I get my caffeine. Love this spot for their location with an amazing interior, outdoor patio & their second story.

This place is a lil treasure in the Foothills.. Loved the customer service by this young man.He had great recommendations. Grilled cheese w tomato soup!

PERFECT POUR OVER...and great drip too (came here two days in a row when in town briefly for work).Plus, the location inside and out could not be more adorable and old-timey stylish.10/10, chef's kiss, et al.

What a cute gem off of the i-80 highway! If you're looking for a pit stop, Auburn is an adorable town to stop by. This coffee shop is especially the perfect to try!I tried the North Fork Chai, which is milk heavy with a splash of spice. Overall, satisfying in flavor... but pretty gritty in texture. Not bad, but I think I'd try a latte next time! I tried some of my friend's Old Fashioned Latte, and this was really tasty! I'd recommend giving that a try. Very cozy interior and lots of space to do work inside. There's 3 different seating areas - including an outdoor patio upstairs!
