The Place on South Pine

Whatever I see eggs Benedict on the menu at a breakfast restaurant I accept their challenge. The real question is do you know how to poach an egg properly and do you make your own hollandaise sauce? Well, I'm pleased to let you know that this place can do both. Not only that but the Canadian bacon was cooked perfectly and the muffin was fluffy and crisp at the same time. The staff was very attentive and the service was impeccable. I was served water and asked for a coffee and neither glass ever went empty. I observed all the staff in their element, and everyone seemed to be enjoying their work and coordinating together very well.One of the servers mentioned how I had the best seat in the place and I agreed stating that it should have my name on it.

It was our first time, and we loved the place--it had a very local feel. The food was good, and there were a lot of choices. The service was terrific. They were very busy, but they kept us updated on how the food was coming. They constantly checked back with us, but not so much that it was annoying. The staff was very friendly and made us feel like they wanted us there and were happy to have us. It was a good feelingWe were there on a Saturday morning, and so there was a wait for both getting a seat and getting the food. It was worth it, and let me ask--do you really want to go to a restaurant that nobody is eating at or one that has many people coming to? There is a reason for the large number of people coming.

Great spot! This is a fantastic breakfast spot in Nevada City. Our group had the pancakes, eggs Benedict, French toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything was fresh and tasted great. They even have iced coffee including refills! The prices may be a bit high but I feel most breakfast places are now and it was on par with other spots in the area. It's an open kitchen style restaurant with a long and narrow dining room. It's cool that you can see the cooks making your food from a lot of the tables. The service was fine, but the food here truly shines.

My husband and I with our baby went for breakfast this morning. The place is very easy, but it works. You choose what you want to eat and the you order at the front desk. I ate the full size of pancakes (4 pieces) and my husband the French toast with eggs and bacon. Pancakes were really good, soft and not heavy. Also my husband enjoyed his plate. In general, it's a good place to have breakfast.

Food was solid and good. Nothing extra special. However, the Biscuits and Gravy was enough for two so my wife and I split it. Was a solid breakfast. The service was Friendly and fantastic and the Ambiance was quiet and friendly atmosphere prevailed throughout.

The food was absolutely delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. From the fluffiest pancakes to the delicious omelets, every bite was pure perfection. If you're looking for a fantastic breakfast spot, look no further!

Lots of seating inside. Service was excellent. Food was fantastic. I had the breakfast sandwich, and the egg yolk ran all over my sandwich! So yummy. I got the turkey sausage patty with it. My friend had the Swiss cheese and mushroom omlette. He said it was yummy. The sautéed potatoes were terrific! Strongly recommended!

Just came to my FAVORITE breakfast place to find they had a new special, corned beef hash. OH MY GOODNESS....GOODNESS. Goodness is the perfect definition for this meal. Thank you for always making my tummy and my heart happy friends!

It was busy for vintage Christmas so a wait was expected. The meal and people working all ended up wonderful making t gf e wait worth it . Great breakfast. Pancakes are thick and hearty! Everything cooked to perfection. And fresh squeezed orange juice.
