The Oaks - Lake Wildwood

We live in Lake Wildwood and wished this restaurant served healthier dished. Seems like everything is fried or the selections they offer are basic in taste and culinary excellence is not there. When we want a fantastic meal we drive to Grass Valley or Auburn. It's a shame we cant enjoy our own restaurant here.

Came here with a family member for "brunch". It was a different type of brunch that I have ever been to. It was more of just a breakfast/lunch menu. It was not all you can eat type brunch. Food was good but not spectacular, service was good. I had a couple of bloody Mary's that hit the spot. for three of us the bill came to around$100 including drinks. There was live music which was nice . Would I come back? I'm not too sure. there's many other options to try out first in the area

"Our" restaurant at Lake Wikdwood is an absolute joke. I only go there as a desperate "last resort." They are always running out of things on their menu (every time I've been there)...ALWAYS! Even 1 hour into their daily specials. ...it's really pathetic. Also, the restaurant can be nearly empty, and service is still snail sloooow. The bar is slow also... too slow. All the servers are running around but still service is slow....I just don't get it...The Oaks is such a disappointment. I do not recommend.

Great Cheeseburger and their beer fries are really yummy. Has the mountain lodge vibe with a great view of the golf course.

Unfortunately, I have attempted several time but the service is just not good at all. Waited 30-45 min each time I went. Food was ok. Probably won't go back again.

The Oaks in Lake Wildwood has wonderful ambience, light and fun atmosphere. The chef does a beautiful job. His name is Chad new management is amazing and all residents are very pleased with the changes love their calamari and shrimp tacos. Also fish and chips are very good and their truffle fries, we eat there quite often

Every time I go here the food sucks terribly. It's basically a hangout for drunk golfers in a clique and bored elderly people needing to do something. I hear the liquor is good, but that's about it.

The most unrated bar in NorCal. Whiskey and Bourbon selection that bars in SF/LA do not have. The burger is phenomenal and the staff is solid. They do have weird hours for food on Sunday and stop serving food at 2:30 or something like that. If they work out the kinks and have a consistent food menu I think this could be the best hidden gem in a NorCal gated community.

We had a fabulous dinner in the Bar after playing a short round this last Friday. Good service, really good bottle of Pinot Noir from Decoy, excellent Black Cod Entree and a perfectly cooked medium rare New York Steak with Frites. Very good experience all the way around!!

Feels like home when we eat there, Great food, wonderful friendly staff, beautiful indoor and patio dining. We are so fortunate to have this place in our community.
