Woah the food here is really good. We are vegetarian and about half of their 8 menu items are vegetarian. We had the whipped golden beets and the pot pie. The whipped goat cheese and flavor was a divine pairing with the beets. But the vegetarian pot pie was incredible! They do half pours of wines which I love, get to taste multiple things. The vibe is very chill, only one other table there on a Saturday evening which is honestly nice-- we could have a real conversation. Decor is a little funky, but don't sleep on this place!!

Went to an early dinner or snack I should say with family. Had some issues; as their online booking let me book an hour before they even opened. After seating we were given a menu that wasn't what they had posted as their their online menu. We were told the online menu hadn't been updated in a while after showing the hostess/server. We found items we would eat and the food was pretty good, but really was looking forward to items in the online menu. The set up was nice and well decorated with a lot of outside seating. I'd love to go back to see if they updated their menu with the other items.

Went in on a Saturday night and it was quiet. Had a group of 4 and we ordered a bottle of margon at the recommendation of our server and it was great with our meal. We ordered:Chargrilled sardines (came warmed with chives and toasted bread with pickled onion and Fresno chilis)Paella arancini (2 orders for 4 balls)Chicken meatballs (2 orders for 4 balls)Carrots three waysBaked cheese in cast iron (with tortilla chips)Shrimp gamboa (with toasted bread) Everything was VERY tasty! It was actually a lot of food so we ended up taking home about half of the cheese and chips. I love the canned fish selection - I love canned fish already but I love it even more when it's warmed, garnished, and served with tasty accessories! The selection of tinned fish is also very good, they carry really good quality fish. Their menu changes frequently if the yelp photos are any indication. Loved the variety of tapas and really enjoyed each one in its own way. Will definitely be back!

I decided to randomly stop here for a glass of wine before meeting my friends for dinner and was not disappointed! The wine options they provided showcased a variety of styles and regions, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable! Omeed and Amanda were patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and very accommodating. I will definitely return.

This little wine bar occupies the location that was formerly Celestin's- we like the proximity to our neighborhood, and it's just a few doors down from the East Village Bookstore. Recommend spending an afternoon exploring the bookstore followed by some drinks at The Nook. There is also an outdoor picnic table area for folks who want to bring their dog, but it is on the parking lot so beware of pavement temps.I can't speak to the food menu, as we have only stopped in for drinks before. Overall, there is a decent selection of wines (red/white/sparkling), as well as beers, ciders, and even mocktails. During our most recent visit, my husband was interested in the vermouth. The bartender created a cocktail that was the grapefruit vermouth + sparkling wine- it was such a refreshing spritz, and we really appreciated the personal recommendation.Service here has been great each time we have visited. Pricing is a bit more expensive compared to wine bars in midtown- expected given its East Sac location. The vibes and aesthetic of the indoor space is a little confused- featuring decor such as damask ceiling hangings, resin wall art, eclectic 3D wall art, and overhead lights that are a little too bright for a wine bar.

We tried this place last tonight because we wanted drinks and small plates type of vibe and it delivered. I got the strawberry basil vermouth cocktail and the bitter citrus vermouth and both were good. We shared the carrots three ways and shrimp gambas and I recommend both but the carrot three ways are a must try if you like carrots. The service was great, the guy working was very helpful and informative. Service was quick. I'll definitely be back.

Super cute wine bar perfect for date night. The small plates are great for sharing and so good. I loved the carrots and bone marrow. The tin fish is also really unique. I got the sardines in tomato and really liked it. Im not a wine connoisseur but the selection isn't overwhelming and I liked the glass that I ordered. Service is also great. They allow dogs in the patio.

The cutest little neighborhood wine bar! We were looking for a place to go to get a drink and a bite...at 3pm on a Tuesday. We came across the Nook and figured we'd head over and try it. Because of the timing it was empty when we arrived but we were quickly greeted and told to sit wherever. (They have a cute outdoor patio but it was chilly so we sat inside.)After looking at the menu we decided to order a flight of 3 wines. I chose the sparkling rose, the Tosca (similar to an oakey Chardonnay with a wild nose) and the bars Honda monsarell (most similar to a Pinot noir). Our server/who runs the front of the house was really knowledgeable about all the wine on the menu and offered a ton of recommendations. We opted to order to the patatas bravas for a little snack. I feel like most places serve thicker potato chunks but these patatas bravas were kind of like chips - they were absolutely delicious! If we lived closer, I imagine we would walk here all the time! It's about a 15 minute drive for us so I definitely see us going back again soon. Would love to try more of the food options!

Classy, unique, fancy-smancy. Lots of unique Spanish wines with small plates. They are super helpful since you might not recognize most of the wine. Pairing suggestions are great too. Friendly, well paced service for a conversational light meal. The selection of tinned fish and caviar was good.

Loved this spot. Great food with a limited, but incredibly well curated, menu. If you're a fan of tinned fish - they also have a great list of options for this as well! Solid ambiance and great drink selection! Service was great, friendly staff. Will definitely come again.
