We decided to try the Mimosa House in Gold River since we've tried Rancho Cordova, Mimosa House. Our server was bubbly. Jasmine was very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband ordered the Veggie Skillet with Apple Sausage & Ham. I ordered the Crab Benedict. I've tried a variety of restaurants and they could not make the Crab Benedict until today. Oh my goodness it was amazingly delicious. Cooked to perfection and my husband's Veggie Skillet was great too. We will be back!Hats off to the Chef and cooks.

The food was very good, but there were definitely some hiccups.I walk into the restaurant around 8 AM, I like the place. It has a nice atmosphere, and it was clean. I waited and waited for somebody to come, I finally had to say "hello? Twice before somebody finally came. It looks like at the time, they only had one server.I'm seated at my table, she asked me what I wanted to drink, , and I told her decaf. She brings the coffee, and then walks away. That's when I realized. There was no cream, or no sugar of any kind at the table. Also, I was only given a fork and a knife, with no spoon to stir my coffee, when the cream and sweetener finally came. I just used my knife.... It turns out I didn't need it. (More on that later....). I had to wait several minutes for her to come back to my table. There was also a lady waiting to pick up her food, and you could tell that she was waiting also, because several times she looked inside the kitchen to see if there was anybody there. The menu is a large food and drink menu. Lots of mimosas on the menu, hence the name. I was interested in an item with the hot link. I asked her how hot the hot link was, and she basically said."I don't know, I've never had it." no offer to go find out, nothing. Instead, I ordered the Maine omelette, crab, shrimp, cheese, and hollandaise, and I asked for a cup of fruit instead of potatoes.. The food comes quick, and I noticed that there is no toast. I asked my server. "No toast?" And she replied, "no, that's extra. Would you like me to put in an order?" I declined. What kind of a breakfast restaurant upcharges for *TOAST*? I was worried that they would also be an upcharge for my fruit. Thankfully, there wasn't.The omelette itself was wonderful. There was a very decent amount of delicious, rich crab and shrimp, and there was also avocado on the top which added to the flavor. The hollandaise had a very good flavor. I'm glad I asked for it on the side, because the amount they brought me, if they would've put that on the omelette, it would've been too much for me. It would have been nice to have some toast to sop up the remaining hollandaise on the plate with, though... The coffee was good, but again, I had to specifically ask my server for a refill. For the quantity, and especially the quality of the food, the price was very reasonable, and they also offer a military/veterans discount. Based on the rest of my experience, heck, just on the toast alone, I don't know if I'd be back. Thanks anyway.

Maybe the third time is the charm?I've been to Mimosa house twice now, and both times I went were "okay". To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed with the food. I ordered the Maui French Toast and a Mimosa but nothing stood out to me like "Damn this is good!"I think it's the experience along with the Mimosas that makes it what it is.The service was good and quick. Our server was nice and friendly so that's always a plus. The ambiance is apart of the experience. Nice color scheme and decor, nice bar area and a place to enjoy a good meal with friends. If I were to go back, I wouldn't get the meal I got again. Maybe I'll try a Benedict next time.Anyways... if you wanna turn up, you can do that easily with their mimosas. They have so many to choose from, so I don't believe you'd miss out on something that sounds just right.Hope this helps!

I tried this restaurant about a week ago for the first time. It was really good with outstanding service. Though we had a bit of a wait without a reservation, it still only took about 10 minutes for the three of us to get a table. Our waiter was super nice and helpful, offered great suggestions from the extensive menu. I had the Huevos Rancheros while my dad had the crab eggs Benedict and my mom had the Maui French toast with eggs and bacon. I tried all three dishes, and they all were very good. My favorite was the Maui French toast which reminded me of bananas foster French toast. The portions are large, presentation is beautiful. The restaurant is new and immaculate. I really can't say enough good things about it. I definitely will go back. I am not usually a breakfast eatery type, but this place is a real exception. Sooo delicious!!

My friend and I had Sunday brunch at The Mimosa House. We were greeted immediately and seated at a table at their outdoor dining area.Their menu has a really good selection and they also offered specials that weekend. Our server was attentive and friendly. And our orders came out fairly quickly.I had the eggs benedict with potatoes. It was good: the poached egg was runny and topped with a nice bernaise sauce. The potatoes were good, too.

Food was wonderful. Service great. We sat outside to avoid the 20 minute wait and it was nice. The heaters kept us warm enough.

We had breakfast at The Mimosa House while visiting family for Christmas. It was our second visit in as many months, and both were delightful!Despite the place being quite busy we were seated almost immediately, brought menus and offered beverages (had to stick to coffee, sadly, as we had family obligations). Our server checked back promptly and took our orders which were prepared and delivered surprisingly quickly! On this visit, my wife had the Perfecto Omelet while I decided to try Chilaquiles for the first time. Both dishes were well-prepared and full of flavor, though I'm still not sure what the fuss is about Chilaquiles. If you love 'em, you'll probably love these. I wasn't exactly disappointed; just not head-over-heels the way Guy Fieri is about this dish. The clientele skews younger but not in a way that made us Boomers feel out of place or unwelcome. Lots of families, especially on the outside patio. Inside is very lively and honestly a little loud, but in a fun kind of way.Next time we're in the area, I'm sure we'll go back, and hopefully be able to indulge in one (or more) of the many mimosas they offer.

It is breakfast birthday week. Start with an eggnog latte. Add a gold river mimosa (raspberry and mango). Wow. Then a shorty Bene. Short ribs poached egg and hollandaise sauce. So good.Add an extra Maui pancake to satiate the sweet tooth. Topped with great service. Yes Tuesday morning and the place was empty but, oh so good. The place was casual upscale feel. Clean and comfortable with quiet music playing gave it a nice chill holiday vibe. Every bit as good as the one in Roseville!! Great spot. Will be

At 2:30, staff dragging chairs noisily, then putting them on tables while diners still eating. Unacceptable. Music playing in kitchen different than on restaurant floor. Makes for a dissonant dining experience! Also cannot customize vegetables in orders. And veggies diced so teeny tiny, can hardly taste them.
