The Kyburz Lodge

This is for the Bunny Slope Coffee Shop here... The first time we have stopped here as we are staying at the lodge next door. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the staff was super friendly. They also have a lot of books you can purchase for only $3

Definitely worth a stop. Best coffees and teas I've ever had. Everything was delicious. There was a nice assortment of yummy fresh baked goods. Inside the cafe there's plenty of seating to enjoy your refreshments. The outdoor patio is huge with lots of room to stretch your legs or sit and enjoy the river view. This would be a great location for a wedding or party. There is a raised stage outdoors. Lot of convenient parking. Interestingly, the cafe has an extensive collection of vinyl records for sale. A fun place to stop. They also have an Airbnb in the back that is beautiful. Definitely coming back

Recently renovated rooms. Helpful staff, very pleasant location. Small river flows at the back of the property, if you are lucky, you can find some gold on the banks.

Very cute little coffee shop! It's the perfect spot if you're in the area playing in the snow. Owners are amazing too!

Super cute cafe that opened recently in Jan 2022! Friendly owner that's great to chat with. The pastries are delicious - especially the homemade chicken pot pies and cookies baked fresh by the owner. A good selection of drinks. He'll make you any kind of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate drink. Nice clean bathroom for customers too. A great hidden gem to stop whether you're headed to or from Tahoe.

We found this gem on our way back from Tahoe. We got some yummy snacks from the bakery and I grabbed a mocha. The owner was so wonderful and welcoming. Such a cute place. We'll be back.

This owner seems to delight in driving business away.Having never walked in here, and soon to resume that path, I stopped by to use the bathroom and saw many signs that said bathroom for customers only. Being a good person I decided I would try to buy some thing, not to mention the owner was staring at me when I walked in like I stepped in shit. I went straight to the cooler and grabbed a cold drink, that wasn't enough. Five dollar minimum for credit cards. No problem I'll just get candy bar. Now we're at 5.25! Hand in my credit card, he says the card is expired. It's not. It's a brand new AMEX with at least $25,000 in credit available on it.So at this point having to go to the bathroom I said can I just use the bathroom real quick and I'll come back and pay?Him (shitty man)" no no no, you pay first!"Me (now leaving) : "F U. C K Y O U"Never stopping here again unless I need to piss outside.

Absolutely loved this place! Great stop on the drive to Lake Tahoe. Really cute couple owns it. Decorated adorable.

This place is all around awesome, we stop here every time we're coming up highway 50. The inside is super nice and feels like you're at home, great music playing too. The new owner, Arash, is super friendly and genuine, it almost feels like you've known him forever. He makes some damn good coffee and said they almost have their beer and wine license secured. Pups are welcome inside too.

Originally stopped here for coffee and a bathroom, but was surprised at how good the coffee was. We ordered a medium coffee with oat milk and a mocha w cayenne (recommendation for their menu). The coffee was good and so was the mocha, except it was too spicy. We asked the barista/owner for more milk to mellow out the spiciness, but he offered to remake the whole drink. He remade it with less cayenne and added some cinnamon. Omg it was so good, they should have it on their menu. We asked how long they've been open and they said only two days!! I wish they had a location near us back home. Would definitely go back again!
