I found The Jungle Bird on Yelp while visiting the area, and it did not disappoint! The tiki-inspired atmosphere is fun, vibrant, and transports you to a tropical getaway. The cocktails were the highlight for me - creative, beautifully crafted, and absolutely delicious. The Mai Tai and Painkiller were standouts, heavy pours after 1 drink I had to cut myself off lol. Overall, If you're looking for a unique spot with great vibes and amazing drinks,The Jungle Bird is a must-visit. So glad Yelp led me here!10/10.

I've been to Jungle Bird many times and have always enjoyed the experience. The staff is typically friendly, and the food and drinks are delicious! This time, I visited for their Haunted Mansion-themed pop-up, and while it was enjoyable, I was a bit disappointed by the initial service.When my group and I arrived, we weren't greeted or acknowledged, which was surprising as it was just before 6 PM and didn't seem too busy. Even the bartenders didn't acknowledge us, which was a bit of a letdown. We waited about 10 minutes before someone finally came over, thankfully we had a reservation for the event.The Haunted Mansion decor was fun, and the themed drinks were a nice touch, but I was surprised there were only three themed drinks and no themed food items for this pop-up. For their previous Disneyland pop-ups, they offered Disney parks-inspired food, and from what I remember more than three drinks to choose from, which I really enjoyed.As for our orders, my boyfriend went with the Lava Flow from their regular menu along with a chicken sandwich and fries. I ordered the "Call in the Spirits" drink and yakisoba noodles, while my boyfriend's mom had the "Dying to Have You" cocktail with the yakisoba noodles as well. She got the souvenir mug her drink came in, which was a nice touch.Overall, we had a good time despite the initial hiccup with service. Jungle Bird remains one of my favorite spots, and I'll definitely be back!

The staff was great at helping me set up a rum themed, tiki style night for my boyfriend's birthday. We had special requests and ordered in spurts- they were prompt and friendly. Everything was great!

I went to Jungle Bird for my first time tonight with a very dear friend, and it just blew me out of the water. First off, our server Evan was RIDICULOUSLY good at his job. He made it to be such an amazing experience. I ordered the PuPu, she got the Banh Mi fries. Every single part of that platter knocked it out of the park. Best crab Rangoon I've had, ever. Delicious spring rolls fried perfectly, with standard, but perfect sweet and sour to accompany. The sauce on the pork belly makes me want to improve my cooking game. I tried some of my friend's banh mi fries, and I know what I'm going to get next time! So freaking good. And Evan, you rock!

Whether you're visiting Sacramento or you're a local The Jungle Bird is a must visit. This Tiki Bar in Midtown is unassuming with their dark windows and green toucan sign during the day, but at night the bright green neon pulls you in.The bar is the place to be, but if you're more of a table person I recommend making a reservation. They have indoor and outdoor seating and they can be very busy during peak times.We prioritize sitting at the bar, which is first come first sit. You're able to chat with the bartenders, see how they make the drinks and meet people. We love to ask the bartenders for surprise drinks as well and they'll sometimes make fun drinks they're working on or some off the menu tiki options.Have patience, and be ready for a little wait when they're busy. The bartenders work hard and it's amazing how they remember multiple orders and work on multiple drinks at once. While the food isn't as talked about as the drinks, they have some tasty offerings. They also pair very well with the tiki drinks.Keep an eye on their social media for special drink menus and themes. They do fun things like Christmas, Disney and other themed options (complete with themed tiki glasses) at different times during the year.The painkiller, chi chi are my go-to orders but they have a variety based off what flavors you're looking for.

Love this Tiki bar!!! the inside is sooooooo cute!! absolutely loved the ambiance, along with the amazing customer service that the attentive bartenders provided us with! the drinks were delish as well!! for the first round my first ordered the Buka Town Chi Chi and I ordered the Sarong Song, then for our second we both ordered 2 Sarong Songs as shown in the pic! will definitely be back again!

Really cute place! I love going outside to the patio during the summer because the vibe is really nice. Indoor lighting can be kind of dark but the decoration is tiki Hawaiian style which is really moody and cool. The drinks are expensive but I think the ambiance makes up for it. They also serve dole whip which is a plus for me! We didn't have any issues with the service.

I've always enjoyed the overall vibe of this place. As a Sacramento native, it was really great to have a themed bar experience that didn't come across as cheap or overplayed. I've been coming to this bar for years and have found my favorite drink is the Painkiller. Great service, often great tunes playing, but lately, I've noticed the bar staff has been incredibly engaging and make me want to return. Rebecca, especially, makes me feel at home and I find it's hard to get that kind of service and acknowledgement from a bartender these days. Absolutely one of my favorite bars in Sacramento. They deserve your business.

Love this place. Always come here on a Thursdays and Sundays to hang out with Rebecca and Savannah. Otherwise I wouldn't hang! They bring life into the night on those slow nights. I've invited multiple people to be regulars there because of Rebecca, Truth!
