Lemon, Lemon blueberry, and Maple Scones are to die for. Country breakfast burrito was very good. Service they are all great. Ambiance is very quaint. Almost forgot dark coffee excellent.Highly recommend!

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch... just don't expect fast service.The Happy Mouth is the former "Mega's Cafe" and I have been going here for years. Ownership changed around mid August 2024. So, if you've visited prior to this- I suggest you check them out again! I think they kept most of the good and improved the things that needed improvement. A majority of the menu is the same, with some items added and some removed. For example, there used to be a "smothered" breakfast burrito that is no longer on the menu. They have expanded the drink selections significantly and have a bunch of different "Red Bull Infused" drinks. I've heard these are very good... but energy drinks aren't my thing anymore.This is definitely still a small town place. You walk in and you can smell the food cooking because the ventilation has never been very good. You'll smell like the food after you visit even if you get your order to go. Depending on what you order, expect to wait 10-20 minutes for your food. They don't do fast food, they do good food as fast as they can. I think the old owners used to have this posted. Overall, serving times have definitely improved. When I would visit the place before the new owners, there would be times I'd have to wait over 40 minutes! I've since been a few times and it's never taken over 20. They also used to serve everything in styrofoam containers (even if you didn't order to go) which I always through was weird and uneconomical. They now will serve food in trays and sometimes paper plates. They now use clear plastic containers for to go orders. I think it's a better option than styrofoam.The place really is very good! My go-to is always the country breakfast burrito. It has all the breakfast meats along with cheese, potatoes, and gravy. It's served with salsa (probably Pace or something similar) and sour cream. It is HUGE and for $12 also a great value. I've never been able to eat the whole thing so I usually just eat half and save the other half for the next day. It's very tasty and I think they switched the potatoes because the last one I got I noticed had red skinned potatoes... which made it even better. Do yourself a favor and try this burrito if you haven't... I'm sure you'll enjoy.I will also get a burger occasionally. I like the Wildfire Spicy burger because it comes with green chilis and spicy mayo. The burger is always cooked medium well and is very juicy (never dry), even though I believe the patties are previously frozen. I do like the new potato buns they use opposed to the old sesame buns when it was Mega's that were somewhat dry. I ordered with potato salad which was ok.The baked goods are all phenomenal. They are made from scratch and always fresh.Thank you Happy Mouth for having good food at a decent price! You definitely make my mouth (and my wallet) happy!

Just had a massive and delicious double cheese burger at Mega's. Grilled double patty ,properly seasoned with fresh tomatoes,lettuce & red onion.The Mrs was smart & ordered the single burger( no fries on the menu,maybe no deep fryer?)This Local eatery serves a good breakfast all day long as well.

The interior is quite cute but the food and coffee drinks are awful. The Spanish omelette looked like it was deep fried. The capuchino was the worst I have ever had, pretty much just a cup of hot milk, no foam, and the sweetened vanilla flavored almond milk made this undrinkable, I threw it away. Service is extremely slow

Ew. Rude, unhygienic staff. Girls in bare midriff who literally were behind the counter pulling their pants down and making videos of their stomach/pelvic regions, taking their hair down and tossing it around making videos/selfies on their phones dancing and twerking behind the counter like it was a bordello. Just low- class and gross to be doing around food. I dont need hair, bellybutton lint and glitter in my mocha, thanks. And the coffee was awful to boot. The burrito was standard, nothing special besises being cheap. We will never be back.

In town for a wedding and happy to see this spot walking distance from where we are staying. Definitely has a small-town feel. Staff was attentive and friendly. Food came out within 15mins of ordering. Had the biscuits and gravy with side of sausages - how can you go wrong? I also had a java chip frap. Everything tasted great!

The food was mediocre, the coffee was even worse. Please don't expect a tip if you require the customer to bus their own tables.

I give them 0 rating!!!Ordered 24 breakfast burritos 2 days ahead and spoke with owner who ok'd the order. Arrived a day ahead to pay in advance only to be told they won't do it!!!! Did not get any call saying they couldn't!!! We are here in Foresthill ca frantic trying to find a place for a breakfast. This order was for a wedding party party coming into town!!! Please do not go to this restaurant!!! Very upsetting and unacceptable!!

I come up to foresthill all the time, I was surprised to see an espresso shop up there. I can't speak on the food because I haven't ate there. But the coffee is really good. Mind you this is a small town and usually only one person working so be patient and mindful when going in. I hope things pick up for them it's a great spot.

Update. 2-28-24Figured we would try again ( bad idea) The food has gotten progressively worse and they are more exspensive. Avocado toast was ordered.... And the avocado used is canned guacamole spread‍ Patrick is not there but another lady. The employees are extremely friendly. I believe the problems with this place come from the owners/management. Guacamole spread is the cheapest possible thing you could have put to make avocado toast. Needless to say they are skimping and charging more. Will not return and will not recommend to anyone ever
