I love the Green Room! Great staff and good drinks with a full bar. They host a lot of community based events and support local non profits. Kitchen is great as well! Love the live music events!

Great and intimate venue with friendly service! Ryder was at the front door, he was friendly and encouraged us to check things out. We enjoyed listening to live music from the bar area for a short while before heading to another establishment, skipped the $20 cover charge to go inside the main stage area. They have a few snacks for purchase at the bar and a taco kitchen in the back (Corazon Tacos) that is reasonable and tasty. Andra was our bar tender who was new and in training, provided attentive and friendly service. Looking forward to a return visit for more live music!

First time coming here. Would go back again for sure. Great small venue, I assume it seats 40-50 people at tables for a concert. Bartender did a great job, I had an espresso martini and hubby had an IPA. Peter Mayer was awesome. I've seen him solo 3 other times.

Wow, amazing place, just got cocktails and it's even better! Best music in town, and best bartenders. Neil is a gem and I haven't had better drinks than what he makes. Very friendly place! The cortisone Mexican food is the best Mexican and the best deal on main. I can't wait to come for another show

We have been to this place on two consecutive Monday nights, and have to say it may be our new Monday night date night favorite! The first night we came was a mix of performers that are all business owners on Main Street. Felt a lot like an open mic night and was really fun. The second time we came we were treated to Johnny Mojo for the owner's parent's anniversary celebration. He was awesome! So far, we have really enjoyed the variety of talent on stage. We also love the talent in the kitchen! So far we have tried the blistered shishito peppers, the fries, the Wagyu beef sliders, the beet salad (with added steak), and the peach cobbler all on night one. The second visit we had the fries again (you will want to lick the dip bowl clean), the Thai chicken salad, and the heirloom tomato caprese salad with added grilled chicken. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared both times. I wish I had room for dessert the second visit because the peach cobbler was delicious and the perfect size in a little mason jar presentation. My suggestion for improvement would be to expand the wine list. There are some good options, but I would love to see a few more wines on there (local of course) such as Edio Vineyards, Madrona/Rucksack, Lava Cap, more Boeger, Starfield, etc. we have great up and coming wines in this area to showcase! The atmosphere inside is super cool too. A lot of work appears to have gone into the little details. And as far as people asking about kids, we choose to leave ours at home for date nights, but we saw a few each time that we were there. Definitely not geared toward children, but I'm sure well-behaved kiddos that are not picky eaters would do fine.

This is just for the concert venue and not restaurant because the kitchen was closed when we went. We had the absolute best time at a show the other night. I took my son and was a little nervous as it was a late show and he's a minor, but hey, kids like music too. The venue was safe and accepting of a kid being there. We reserved seats and were right by the stage and safely out of the way of the mosh pit. It was loud as a concert should be so I brought earmuffs for my son which I would recommend for any kids attending a concert. I'm looking forward to more shows there.

We stumbled upon The Green Room Social Club while walking around downtown Placerville wondering what was open. The menu got our attention and we ended up being thrilled with our decision to walk in!For starters, the four of us ordered:Ahi poke (Ahi tuna is served atop about three fried wontons)Blistered shishito peppers (Delicious and addictive. Probably my favorite appetizer of what we tried.)Russet garlic fries (Also very tasty with the aioli and a good serving size)For main dish, I got the braised beef short ribs, and they were so tender, pretty much melted in my mouth! So good. I really liked how they were paired with mushrooms and sautéed spinach. And others in our party got the salmon and mussels, and my boyfriend said the salmon was perfectly cooked. We also shared the watermelon tomato salad which was refreshing and good for summer.Looks like they have a great wine and beer selection; saw a lot of beer on tap. We tried the Miraflores Zinfandel from a local winery. We were enjoying our meal so much that we got peach cobbler for dessert. It was served warm in a small mason jar with a crumble topping and whipped cream. We loved the food and service (staff is very friendly) so it's probably a very fun time when there are live events. We were there on a fairly quiet Monday night but looks like this would be a great place to hang out for music and comedy. They are also relatively newly-opened, so highly recommend supporting them! Thanks for welcoming us during our visit!

Horrible experience. Went to see PoorMans Whiskey, a band my friends and I have followed over 10 years. There is a couch in there and my friend and I sat on the couch, relaxing, listening to the music and some tall dorky guy said we had to leave! Don't put a COUCH in your bar and expect people not to sit on it. Nobody was stumbling or falling, or upsetting ANYONE! They were so rude and made us leave. Too bad, cause the place could be cool. The owner is some woman who was boasting about buying the place. She may have the money to buy a bar but she's got no business running one. It ruined a really special night for the 5 of us.
