The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill - Roseville, CA

Blown away by the service of the employees here. Slammed on a rainy Friday night, and they kept their energy and warmth to all customers. All the tables were full and plenty of people in the restaurant picking up orders. Despite my food coming at separate times they were apologetic and gave me a free dessert. It wasn't needed. Great gesture and shows how they value their customers. Now the food, I ordered the gyro and feta fries. Bold flavors. The gyro was packed with meat and veggies. A little heavy on the onions and tzatziki sauce but overall it was a filling meal. The feta fries hit! Now sure what else was mixed but the melted feta on the fires is nothing like I've had before. Don't be like me and let the fries sit too long as the cheese does harden around. It didn't stop me from killing the entire meal. I appreciate the casual vibe of the place. Small dining area for how busy I can only imagine it could get during better weather.

Used the website for ordering ahead. Super convenient and reliable. Entered with a friendly greeting. Staff super warm and helpful. I thought I ordered a side and accommodated for the first time and taught me how to order properly on the website. Food was amazing. We consumed our lunch orders there. So good that we ordered our dinner in advance. Heated up for dinner it was still as yummy as it was earlier that day. Ordered the steak plate and lamb beef salad. Another steak plate to go. Also tried their baklava ice cream.

Not the fastest meal because it is a restaurant first, so expect to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere while you wait. Totally worth it.

Eat here! We are day ones and I can't believe I've never wrote my review! My go to is the Steak Slovaki Plate Med Rare. The rice bowls are always good. Always with the Dolmades and lemon potatoes yummy! Order all the dips. Service is so nice and helpful. It's always neat clean and well maintained. Also if you order through their website pick up or delivery you get 25% off!

Great food, very refreshing. Love the great greek! The chicken souvlaki plate was delicious and filling. The chicken was a little dry, but it paired well with the tzatziki and hummus (ordered on the side). The hummus was so smooth and flavorful, definitely could have gotten the larger appetizer size heh! The tzatziki was creamy and cool (very tasty). The pita was nice and soft, fluffy. The fries were excellent and crispy, hot outta the oil. Very fluffy inside. The side salad was bursting with zing and went perfectly with everything. The plate is the way to go!The great greek gyro chicken was good, though the chicken was quite small; a few pieces. It was very feta-y. The pita was good, nicely wrapped.

This is now a regular stop to dine in or take out for dinner, one of our favorite places close to home.The souvlaki plate, rice bowl, gyros and more never disappoint- and we always take a hummus with us!

Fourth visit to The Great Greek and it continues to be good! We had the gyros plate, this time with the lemon potatoes. The gyro meat was tasty and not dry, the pita fresh, and the salad crisp; the potatoes were perfectly done with a slightly crisp exterior and warm, soft interior. Overall a large amount of food that could be split for 2 persons. Service was friendly and prompt, and they were pretty busy at lunch. The holiday decorations added a nice touch.

Great Greek food and definitely the best gyros around. They give you lots of food. Ask for the fries to be extra crispy, you won't be disappointed.

Just amazing! When there with my friend on a Sunday. I tried the appetizer which comes in four dips and it was delicious! For the Entrée I got the Souvlaki plate with tenderloin.Everyone who works there was super nice! And the place looked clean and nice!
