The Donut Shop

Still luvin this donut shop. They make donuts... classic, traditional donuts. They got raised, cake, fritters, old fashion, and of course their signature French Kisses. Their version of a French Kiss is slightly bigger than bite size. They are custard filled raised doughnut bites covered in powdered sugar. Ohhh lala delicious. All their donuts are mighty tasty and sure purdee looking. The customer service is usually pretty awesome. They also sell coffee and have a cold case of drinks (milks, juices, sodas, water). You can even sit a spell and devour your donuts on the spot, since they have a couple of tables inside.

We were in the area and stopped by for French kisses. Definitely the best here! It was also National donut day when we went, so they gave us free cake donuts.

Love this donut shop. I first had donuts here about 4 years ago and they taste so good. I'm pretty picky when it comes to donuts. I've tried a few other places in Folsom and up the hill, and they do not come close to comparing with the donut shop. The donuts here at just different, they're fresh and every donut we have tired has been good. The French kiss donuts are a must try. And this shop is a must try, I have donut shops closer to me but I still make the drive to this one as they never disappoint.

The donut holes are sub pat. The donut holes lack the fluffy and crumbly sugar coating that make good glazed donut holes stand out and fun to eat.The maple old fashioned is good with good density and weight.The store is clean and cozy and a nice place to hang out for a quick coffee break.Overall an acceptable option for the East Bidwell neighborhood.

The French kisses are delicious! Messy to eat through. Can't believe I lived in Folsom for almost a year and just tried their stuff. Definitely coming back, so much for cutting back on sugar lol.

Friendly service and great donuts, that's all you need from a donut shop. I particularly love their chocolate old-fashioned.

Donut shops rarely have exceptions, and sadly this holds true here, also.-Mediocre donuts made from mixes brought in on a pallet (while we were leaving).-Service wasn't unfriendly, but not especially welcoming (not my type of people, regardless).-Cheesy "donut shop" interior.Best to avoid if you're wanting anything worth eating.
