Located on the outskirts of Old Sac in the DOCO Shopping center inside of the Holiday Inn Express.Parking is garage or street parking (During game day they close off parking on the street right outside of Macy's so there really isn't any close parking). Most people park in the garage, but on game day they have a flat rate.On game day the place is busy, but not overly packed. This is really a hidden gem. The bar is small. Maybe 6 tables, so depending on the time it may be hard to get a table. When we were there only 2 other tables were occupied and there were a couple of people at the bar. This is also a take out place. We saw 2 people taking orders to go.Service is good. They staff are attentive, but as you know the more patrons the longer it takes to get a drink as there is only 1 or maybe 2 staff people on duty. There isn't a separate bar tender. The wait staff are also the bar tenders and servers.Drinks are good. My husband ordered 2 bloody mary's so they must have been good for him to order a second.I ordered the fried chicken salad. It was really good. It came tossed with the dressing. I ordered ranch instead of the honey mustard that they offered. The salad was topped with cut up in bite size pieces of fried chicken, probably chicken tenders. Bacon and egg. The salad was big enough to serve 2 people for dinner. My husband and our friend got the house burger and fries. My husband said the burger was above average. I tried half and though it was just average. It wasn't that juicy. It was on the dry side. It did come with a good helping of lettuce leaf, tomato, and red onion. My husband got the chicken wings last time and said they were subpar.I've been here twice, both for game day. I'd go back.

Latest menu. Good choices. Had the fried chicken salad. Should have took a picture because it was a thing of beauty. Dug in and several wonderful bites in I realized. The staff are amazing and very enjoyable to talk to. Someone just ordered the chicken wings. Great choice!Went back for the quesadilla with short rib with killer salsa verde

It is definitely more expensive then it should be, but the food isn't bad quality and the service is amazing! I have never had a bad experience with a waiter here, and the radio music isn't half bad. Typically there is cut fruit, some dairy (yogurt, cottage cheese, etc), and some breakfast items (I have only been there during breakfast).

The food at the breakfast buffet was standard fare for the 3 days I was there. I got breakfast for free with my hotel status. I was shocked to see the price of the buffet was twenty bucks, without voucher. Definitely not worth that. I will have to say that the wait staff were all some of the friendliest and efficient I have come across in quite a while. Tip your wait staff everyone, especially if you are getting breakfast for free :)!

We were attending a concert at the Golden One Center and wanted to go somewhere for a quick dinner before entering the arena. We walked past one restaurant/bar that looked packed so we kept walking and came across this location, which is the restaurant of the Holiday Inn. The interior is quite dated (especially the hotel itself and the hallways leading up to the restrooms upstairs), but seating in the restaurant was plentiful and the place was quiet and pleasant. We had the option of ordering off the menu or doing their dinner buffet at $17/person. We took a peek at the buffet area that looked pretty decent with a salad bar, mixed veggies, chicken, steak, rolls and a nice selection of desserts. Non-alcoholic drinks (iced tea, sodas, juice, etc) were also included. The host seated us at a nice table next to the window, where we had a great view of the street and outside area. The server was a little slow with getting our drinks to us but eventually she did show up with them and apologized for the long wait. While we were there, the dining area slowly filled up with customers, so we were glad we got there fairly early. It was nice that they had TV screens so my husband could watch the NBA playoffs too. :PFood was good, ambiance was pleasant and we got a happy surprise at the end because there was a 20% off Yelp check-in offer too. So for that price, it was a great meal. The next time we're back at Golden One for an event, we'll probably stop by again.

Let me say that after reading the other terrible reviews I wasn't expecting much. Yay...the reviews were pretty spot on. I ordered french toast and a side of bacon. The "butter" served with the French toast crumbled when I tried to spread it...weird. I asked for my bacon a little crispy and I got petrified bacon. Next time I'll be finding another place nearby even if this is super convenient.P.s. the even the coffee is terrible...

Wow this place has bad reviews, sad to see, but I had the citrus grilled salmon, and it was absolutely fantastic I thought. The sauce on top was great, the salmon was cooked wonderfully, the vegetables were delicious. I would totally get it again.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn and decided to grab a togo quick dinner. I had the chicken Alfredo. It was really bland but not the worst I have had.The girl at the front was really friendly and had a great smile. The waitress was not so much- I think she was ready to go home or something.Anyway, I would recommend if you don't want to leave the hotel and need a quick bite to eat.

October 9, 2021Update one thousand thirteen of any comments! I have had here child order pancakes, squid, prime rib, even just cups of hot chocolate! For hot chocolate, they ask if you want Whipped Cream!Maybe due to Mister Corona Virus, is temporary closed down! I do want wish the employees best of luck, I do want to wish the volunteers best of luck! The restaurant may be temporary closed down, but the hotel is open for business, for Guests!Look forward to whenever The Cyprus Grille reopens! The items I had, not bad prices for hotel restaurant! Child order four dollar before tax, squid at nine dollar before tax, prime rib eleven dollar before tax, child order hot chocolate one dollar fifty cent before tax!
