I've been wanting to go to one of their pop up events. I went to their last event of the year- Holiday Food & Craft Fair. It was held at the Sacramento Asian Sports Foundation in Elk Grove. Supposedly, there were over 100 vendors. The most popular vendor was Borderlands Bakery together with The Sweetest Mix. Their sugar cookies were super cute! I also got picked up a cute sticker and keychain while I was at the event. Until next year!

Bringing Great Holiday Cheer To Sacramento!SITREPThe Creative Space is a wonderful Art Space & Venue that coordinates space - both physical and virtual - for artists and creative entrepreneurs.https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-creative-space-sacramento?select=5qvOnRKKtVOXr1P1trb3wQ&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0wMost of the endeavors here focus on teaching cooking & baking classes, nowadays virtually through Zoom or other virtual platforms. But in the past and again in the future, they will be taking advantage of their kitchen again!https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-creative-space-sacramento?select=gvrh-yN7YOro3HMGCzOJYg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0wTHE SETUPI love how despite this pandemic, they manage to assist many groups in hosting events.Recently, I enjoyed a Holiday cupcake decorating event and were encouraged to make snowman cupcakes and polar bear cookies.Remi, one of the managers of the Creative Space, was on hand to assist me with the sign-up and to get my cupcake kit! https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-creative-space-sacramento?select=jYaIxmwo9Qjx-JlaF3aPlg&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0wI also got to meet her mom which was fun, and we took selfies together! How cool is that? :Dhttps://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-creative-space-sacramento?select=tsbOAasz2r2YnhwpWYdRnw&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0wSLIGHT SNAGI FORGOT to take my cupcake kit out of the fridge 30 minutes before the class - and to make matters worse my fridge was running cold, ALMOST as cold as the freezer. So during the class, my icing was pretty pretty frozen. I did my best to thaw out the icing tubes with my hands and fingers, butttttt it didn't work to well and I ended up with crazy looking cupcakes that sorta looked like Superman's fortress of Superman (which, when you think about it, was pretty cool too!)https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/the-creative-space-sacramento?select=EWhDEKMSavIojIABtY0sCA&userid=3mNz5nQFTIBQm0oU5mBR0wBut this snafu did NOT in the least diminish my cupcake making fun!THE LOWDOWNA wonderful creative space and enterprise!

Cutest place! Came by last weekend to pick up a cupcake kit for a virtual event. I was greeted by Remi who was very friendly and showed me around! It's a great space to host private parties and events! Plenty of photo ops! There were little hints of Disney hidden all around. My family and I used to go to Disneyland a few times a year before COVID so I definitely loved seeing that. They are located on 16th and U St next to Tomato Alley! They also have street parking.I hope to attend an event here in the future!

What a cute space for local artists, vendors, and bakers to showcase their creative wares to the public! It is a small event space, available to use for in- person or virtual crafting classes. In fact, I will be attending a virtual cupcake decorating class that will be streamed live from the Creative Space. "Nothing Fancy Bakery" had us pick up our kits there, and I was invited to come in and take a look around and browse their current stock of items for sale. There is an upcoming pop-up this month that will be great for last minute holiday gifting, so be sure to check out their IG (@thecreativespacesac) for the date and other classes that are offered. The mom/daughter team who own the Creative Space are the sweetest and friendliest ladies! Support this small, local, minority, women-owned business!

What a great place to showcase local businesses! The place had a handful of coffee vendors and it's perfect for a coffee addict like myself. I definitely enjoyed the Black Sails Coffee. It went perfect with the coffee cake from Tiyana's Treats! I purchased some brownies which were just as great as the coffee cake. I also purchased some of the super cute bamboo stickers. Overall the space is great and you can find something from every vendor.

Love this place, they host all kinds of creative events for small businesses and creative enthusiasts alike. I got my Nothing Fancy Bakery kit here for a Yelp event and I also stopped by before Christmas for their little festival they were putting on for several small business vendors and got some super yummy cookies, cakes and more Nothing Fancy Bakery cupcakes. They were compliant with all COVID guidelines during the little fair and monitored the number of people inside at a time. They host events like paint and pottery nights which I really look forward to once we're post COVID.

Such a fun spot to visit. .Well there is a space for creativity individuals or people who want to rent the space for some banquet, graduation celebration, anything actually. They say that this places comes with a kitchen specialty for baking. Which is very neat for people who loves to bake and sell goods. .Yes you can cook inside too im sure in the kitchen but nothing hard-core ,like maybe a stove but not like a wok and depp fryer and etc,, I think. .The sapce inside is nice and roomy with some hard wood floor. The walls are bright and white. The lighting inside is great. The entrance is formal and has a little area for like waiting before entering into the main room. .The location is near the freeway so it's close to Broadway and nearby lots of street parking. Great for people who don't like driving into midtown where its confusing for some people who don't like one way streets. Also easy access too the freeway to go home after an event at this creative space. .The last few times I been here is when they had some pop up on the side of the street I front of this spot. They had various local artists that sell like hand made jewelry, art, painting, plants, food. .Overall this is such a neat idea for a fun creative space to rent out to be creative and also have fun and maybe promote ones creative business if they are starting out. Thanks for reading and have a yelptastic day!

This is a great location! I have been to a couple of their small business showcases and both times it has been super cool. During the covid era, they have done a great job of making sure everyone is social distancing and doing outdoor tables when they can. First time I went it was for a Valentine's day themed even so all the tables were outside and it was mostly sweets. They had many varieties of cookies, confectionaries, and ice cream as well! For any indoor events, they have someone set up outside to take temperatures and to limit the number of people inside. I recently went to the women-owned small business Saturday. It was a lot of fun! Loved that had a variety of good to choose from, including food, ice cream (Goth creamery), candles (the Magick Shoppe), and even birria tacos! It's such a great place to spend an nice afternoon. It's in a great location too, so if you feel like wandering off to other spots in downtown, you're not far that you can either hop in your car or walk for a little bit and find a park or another cool establishment to hit. Very cool!

I can't recommend this place enough! Remy & Jennifer own The Creative Space and are a pleasure to work with! I'm lucky enough to be able to host our Grazing Gouda Charcuterie Classes here a few times a month! This place is perfect if you need an event space to rent, but they specialize in highlighting local artisans to come and teach their craft at their beautiful location! Every weekend they have popups with lots of Sacramento small businesses and they go above and beyond for the community! I have such a great time teaching classes here and my guests really enjoy them! It's a great location too!
