I ordered cookies via DoorDash from here and they were a lot smaller than expected. I didn't expect them to be individually packaged but didn't know if they were doing that since it was a delivery order, but I liked it so that I can save them for later, plus they're all labeled. The cookies itself were decent and not too hard, but the size was the most disappointing. I understand prices are going up everywhere but I remember the cookies to be a lot bigger at the original Cookie Jar location. This new location is so close to the original one so maybe it's better off to just keep the one location instead of cutting costs/quality.

I wanted something sweet and stopped in. Almost 25 bucks later I have 6 cookies smaller than the palm of my hand and I'm not even 5 foot tall. I absolutely love crackle cookies but this one I didn't really like, was missing some moisture and sweetness. I took two bites of the rascal, not for me. The oatmeal chocolate chip is decent. I won't be trying the rest because I have to share. Not worth the price to go back. If one of the ones I tried had been phenomenal it would have been different. You have to phenomenal for a small cookie to be 3 dollars.

I guess I was expecting bigger cookies for the price ($18 for 6 regular size cookies) so that was a bit of a sticker shock. That being said, the cookies were good but definitely not $3 each good. We got 2 S'mores, 2 snickerdoodle & 2 oatmeal chocolate chip. The oatmeal chocolate chip was my favorite. Snickerdoodle is usually one of my favorite cookies but these were just ok. You could taste the baking soda in them. The s'mores was a little too sweet for me. Overall I don't think is a place I will frequent regularly but I will maybe pick up a cookie every once in a while.

$3 for a pre packaged cookie!? That's the size of a save mart cookie.. not worth it. The rascal had an after taste of dirt. The snickerdoodle was very dry. Probably won't be back.I will say the lady working in there was very genuine and nice though!

$3 per cookie for a cookie that size was a bit shocking. I like there is a cookie place on this side of town. But disappointed it wasn't more of an impressive size for the price. Chocolate chip was good, however I detected a bit of cinnamon.

if I have a choice between coming to this location, that's actually much closer to me or going to the location on Laguna Blvd., I will choose the Laguna location first. The size of the cookies at this new location are practically half the size of what the ones at the regular cookie jar in Laguna offers and as far as I can tell, the prices are the same. I am really disappointed. The store does not compare at all to the original Cookie Jar store. Therefore I will continue giving my business to the OG Cookie Jar!

I have to say we are VERY DISAPPOINTED,DISSATISFIED, DISGUSTED!! We saw that The Cookie Jar 2 has opened right by our house. We had been going to the original location off bruceville and laguna off and on but haven't been there the last 2 yrs or so. The cookies there were very big and were not $3 a cookie. I know inflation has hit but WOW... the cookie at the new store is HALF the size and expensive $3!! It's already pre packaged! I believe in supporting local Mom and Pop businesses but this isn't right! This seems like our government and taking more money for less product!! Also $36 a dozen is RIDICULOUS!! I wish your store all the best! If you're going to charge this much at least don't be cheap and make the cookies Big like they were!! I won't be coming back ever again! Very sad what has happened here. Good Luck!

I was all about the cookie Jar coming to this side of town. I know that they are catering to the Jr and high school crowd but they are cold and way smaller. Not worth the money. I am sure they are being baked and transfered from the other location but I want a fresh cookie.

I don't think people understand the cost of running a business...$3 cookies are very reasonable, cookie jar has been around for a long time and they know what they're doing. If you want cheaper cookies then go to a grocery store, not a bakery. That being said I love a good classic chocolate chip cookie and cookie jar hits the spot every time! I will say, they did used to be a lot bigger. But maybe it's time for America to stop supersizing things anyway
