The Club Car

The Club Car is a nice spot to grab a bite or a drink in upper old town in Auburn CA. If I lived in Auburn, I could see myself making this my go to hangout spot. Asian sweet wings and Asian chicken salad were both very good. I would definitely get those wings again for sure. Loved the sweet heat on them. Service was good. I would recommend the 4 seat table to the left of the stage, I would put a small table for 2 people there. It's very dark and it's hard to see the stage next to the table and it is a tripping hazard.

came here between crew stops during the 100M as we needed to refuel ourselves. Great place, great food and a lot of variety to choose from, awesome drinks on top and fun vibe. They have live music as well. Unfortunately we were only able to hear 2-3 songs as we had to keep on schedule. Ordered the miso salmon which was delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked - tender and flakey, the miso dressing/sauce was flavorful, not overpowering and the sauteed veggies hit the spot to round out the entree. Ordered the Humboldt cherry cider and it was one of the best ciders. If I didn't have the 10pm shift that evening, I would have ordered another. Service is very friendly and attentive.

My husband and I went there for happy hour. Their drinks are very good and their food. They are very delicious. Well recommended it's a very please place they make you feel like you're at home.

Never been here before but our waitress was nice and the food was amazing. Split it in half with my friend and that was more than enough to fill me up. Really lowkey spot in the town of Auburn but tasted amazing nonetheless

Our lunch group has been here a few times and it is very consistent with good service and good food. During our latest visit we had the Havana, French Dip, Burgers and all were good. The Onion Rings were excellent. Service was excellent. There is street parking or a community lot nearby.

We had the best dinner and drinks here, so had to rave about it. I got an arugala salad with burrata, and it tasted so fresh and bright. Mr B enjoyed his Basa fish with caper sauce, lime rice and veggies. Cocktails were delicious too.Special shout out to our pretty waitress. She did a great job. She really knew the menu, and seemed to care about doing a good job. Thanks!

Nice little spot in old town Auburn. The hubby and I were craving steak after having lots of sandwiches and fast food on our road trip. We saw that The Club Car was not far away and the menu looked good. Service was great. I had the New York. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The veggies and garlic mashed potatoes were really good, too. The hubby enjoyed his shrimp scampi and steak medallions.

This establishment clearly isn't interested in attracting business. It's the most liberal restaurant in Auburn, with the worst service and customer support I've ever encountered. If you're looking for excellent service and quality food, head to Monkey Cat up the street instead.We faced multiple issues here due to their errors. They served us a dish that wasn't what my boyfriend ordered; it was meant for someone sitting next to us at the bar. Despite pointing this out, Club Car charged us for both the meals they they mistakenly put right in front of us. A restaurant with good customer service would have resolved the mistake without charging us, but instead, they insisted on charging us for both. Additionally, they hold grudges against customers who leave negative reviews and may refuse to serve you if you write one. Their inability to accept criticism is evident in their refusal to acknowledge their mistakes. Horrible place! Stay away.

They use to have the best tacos but now they only serve them certain days and they went up from 1.50 on the happy hour menu to $4 each... ok fine, I'll still try to find something... I ordered a chocolate cake. It was maybe a 2inch round cake that had no consistency to it at all and they charge $10 for it. Definitely went from our taco Tuesday spot to not even worth going to anymore. Such a shame!! Save your money and spend it somewhere that will value their customers and not just try to make a quick buck.

Went for early dinner the place was hopping. We didn't have a reservation, but hostess said if we were done at 6:30 we could have a table. Didn't feel pressured or rushed and got done at 6:25! Food great, service great, no rush. Make reservations and don't miss out on this charming spot. And don't forget about the live music! Definitely coming back next time I'm in town.
