The Chocolate Architect

Talk about real, good quality chocolate served with warm smiles over and that is what you'll get at The Chocolate Architect! They are serving some small bites to taste at the cashier and the flavors are not your usual. Can you imagine a limoncello flavored chocolate?! I tried it and it was delicious! Deep chocolate flavor with the hint of tangy that is just well balanced.The service is excellent! The staff are very friendly and will gladly accommodate requests and make recommendations based on your preference.It's a nice little shop with cozy sitting areas. My friend I went there during Christmas season and the decorations will make you want to sip hot chocolate and just enjoy the sweet moment.I ordered the hot mocha, which normally I wouldn't order because most places just serve it like sweet coffee that has an overpowering chocolate taste but not at The Chocolate Architect. Their hot mocha is legit mix of espresso and cocoa, the good quality cocoa.I highly recommend this place!

What an amazing concept... beer/wine pairings with chocolate...okay - sign me up!While I wasn't able to get the full experience (we had just finished dinner and couldnt really fit another bite/sip and were just exploring the Palladio), I was able to talk to one of the workers - Melissa - who let me know all about the business and their offerings.Can I just say- when someone loves what they do- it shows and really makes the experience so much better! I loved Melissa's personality and she was so sweet and patient to answer any questions we had. They always have chocolate samples and she even offered me a sample of the 3 wine slushie flavors they had. I tried the lavendar chocolate and the pink barbie rosé slushie, blue hawaian chardonnay slushie, and chocolate (I think red blend based) mint slushie. All were so nice and refreshing on a warm almost summer day.Melissa also showed us all the different flights and pairings they do and how she came to work there and her experience there. I loved her back story and her passion for the business. As for the ambiance, there is a small area to sit inside with some chairs and tables and even more comfy cushiony options and also an outdoor patio where you can enjoy people watching outside and live music nearby on Friday nights (when weather is nice)I definitely wanna return and get the full experience, but from those 10 minutes of being there - I know what a great spot it is. Definitely go check it out.

The is the spot for wine and chocolate lovers! Your tongue will Thank You! I had the top flight and everything on the tray goes perfectly with each other. The wines on this flight were deliciously delightful and the chocolates were perfect pairings. It was like a different experience with each sip and bites. Your palate will be dancing with butterflies in a field of flowers. Just like that! I can't wait to come back and try some other chocolates and pairings. This spot was definitely worth the money and time. And you can sit outside on their nicely prepared tables and people watch. Great way to spend a splendid afternoon.

Was on the hunt for some hot chocolate and found this place. The staff here is really nice. Let us try samples of chocolate and they were so silky smooth and delicious! Love all the Christmas decorations, so festive inside. Got a hot chocolate with whipped cream and salted caramel sprinkles. Visually looked great and tasted wonderful too! Just what I was looking for on a cold evening.

We always passed by this place whenever we are at the Palladio, but I was never interested since it says it's a wine bar. Then I saw someone who mentioned they had coffee there a while back, so we stopped in today after watching a movie. The coffee menu looked very simple, understandably since everything advertised around the store was for their wine and wine/chocolate flights. So we just picked the Silk Mocha and Silk Latte. When we ordered them, the lady just said "you mean a latte?" I guess so since that's the only latte on the menu and it says Silk Latte, so yeah sure if that's what your normal latte is. I didn't like the attitude but maybe she didn't mean to come across that way. Both of the workers weren't exactly friendly and smiling but did thank us at least. The Silk Mocha was definitely the winner of the two. When she handed me the drink she said something about it having housemade chocolate syrup I think, but couldn't understand her since she trailed off. It was a very good mocha though! The Silk latte was not so great. It tasted mainly like steamed milk and barely coffee flavor. They do have lots of chocolate goods in different types and flavors so it would be a nice place to buy a creative chocolate gift. Overall the mocha was good but I would not come out of my way for it. It's the only coffee in this shopping center though so I wouldn't mind getting it again if I needed one.

6.30.2024Wine slushes?! What in the world?! So unique and original. With a combination of silky truffles, it's such a great idea! Love that they give out samples. Got their Barbie wine slushy. Although great idea, I felt it lacked wine flavor. It just tasted sweet and sour. Tried their "butter-beer" truffle. Supposed to be butterscotch flavor, but it was more like condensed milk/powder flavor. For the price and overall taste, it'll just be a "try once" type of thing. Even after checking in on Yelp and mentioning about their 15% off, the cashier just ignored it and rang me up for regular prices.

Craving some chocolate while you are shopping around the Palladio in Folsom? This is the spot. Right by the movie theatre, you can't miss it. I have a sweet tooth and love coming here. Most of the time they have samples. The chocolate bars and many more selection of flavors are so good and the chocolate wine was really tasty! Give it a try :)

Love all the different samples in here which we go in to try & end up buying stuff.The pieces (of art) are wonderful to look at and taste delicious. They also have wine/beer flights and chocolate accompaniments which are such a wonderful thing to do on a beautiful evening with your partner.The seating inside & outside is very nice. Staff is good and well knowledgeable.

The food and service were NOT worth the price. Over $20 for an ice cream cookie sandwich, two one inch squares of white "fudge" and a cookie with sprinkles. The lady who took my order (owner/manager?) could not even put the TO GO order in a bag or container... she wrapped the "fudge" up in a small piece of parchment and handed me the ice cream cookie and single cookie with a napkin. Honestly, they treats did not taste that great, especially for the price and cheesy service.

Becky was so so sweet! Amazing customer service. Really make you feel cared for and cherished. The chocolates were great and mocha even better!! Such a treat. Thank you guys!
