The cake was perfectly made in the way we wanted and tasted great! My child truly loved it

I have been a customer of Cake Depot for many years. They never disappoint. This birthday was absolutely delicious.

I get their cake trimmings on the TooGoodToGo app. The baking is so on point! I've tried their lemon, red velvet, and chocolate cakes. Everything is perfectly moist and such good flavor. If I ever need a special occasion cake The Cake Depot would be at the top of the list.

What I ordered vs what I got. It was supposed to be the same exact cake that I found in their website gallery. Only change was the color from gray to purple.

I wanted to support my local bakery especially it being black owned. I shoulda wrote this review soooo long ago but anyways ugh I was so disappointed in the design! It was so sloppy! I offered to buy the cake for my friends baby shower and I was so embarrassed to bring the cake to the party! I wish I had a photo but it was bad I didn't even take any photos

My initial plan for my husband's birthday cake fell through, and I was in search of a backup at the last moment (3 days). I found and contacted the Cake Depot to inquire about availability. Though she had an event that same day at noon, Kathleen told me she could do it. I described what I wanted, and sent some pictures that were similar, but not quite what I was thinking. She took what I said and sent me some pics from which to choose. I took 2 and combined them, and she created just what I'd envisioned! I thought the cake was reasonably priced, and EVERYONE at the celebration LOVED the cakes (red velvet & a white cake with strawberry filling); each layer was different. Absolutely wonderful job and easy to work with! Thank you SO much, Kathleen! I've locked her in for future needs.

The owners of the bakery are very nice and do an amazing job with the cakes that they make. The cakes are also delicious. I would recommend this business to everyone.Great customer service.

I was disappointed with our cake. We ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and we didn't get that. We got buttercream frosting because we were told the cake held better with the icing. I would've rather have been told ahead of time about the difficulties. I would've asked to put the cakes on platforms or something else instead of changing the frosting. We were looming flavored to a red velvet cake flavor and we didn't get it. For such an expensive 300 dollar cake we should've received what we ordered.

We were so delighted with our father's celebration of life cake. He would have absolutely LOVED the hotrod cake!! It fed all of us and more and the flame cupcakes were a huge hit with the kiddos. I will use Cake Depot again and again.

I am was trying to use this bakery but the prices are unaffordable. Three hundred dollars for 20 cupcakes (specialized) I do not think so!! I am not cheap frugal etc. but there is a limit.This is a follow up response to the owner's response. You did say 24 cupcakes when I called and inquired about your prices. Still $300 for 24 is pricey to me, I did shop around and found a nice bakery that is reasonable.
