The Beauty Parlor

I found this parlor while at Four Score and started researching it. First of all the beautiful decor immediately caught my attention! It's super cute and chic. I booked with Angela after studying her instagram and saw serval styles that I loved. She went above and beyond to take me from a dark boring brunette who hated doing her hair to a new baby highlighted woman! She spend hours teasing and coloring my hair to leave it a masterpiece! I'm so happy I found her and this studio! I totally don't mind being stuck at this cute place for hours every few months.

I'am not the one to ever leave bad reviews, but if I can safe someone from getting their hair ruined I will. I was so excited to get my hair colored I asked Cassie one of the stylist to do a balayage I showed her several photos. For one my hair was virgin. My hair was pretty healthy stage as I don't style it with hot tools or use harsh chemicals on it. Going in everything seemed fine my hair lifted well. While toning I remained her I really dislike ash to please make sure it's a Carmel color I am not a picky person & I know that things may not be 100% how you want, but I was very specific to please stay away from Ash colors. My hair after toning was an ugly gray like very ash I began to get nervous and she mentioned she was gonna tone it agin. After her last attempt the color still looked like gray hair specially with my natural dark color underneath which I had asked her to lighten. Below is how my hair turned a day before my birthday. I left in tears she said she didn't have time to fix it even after I asked her to just take me back to a brunette color. My scalped burned for 3 days and I can smell the harsh chemicals she used on my hair. My hair is dry and brittle frayed on the ends and the color is just exactly what I had told her to please avoid. I would never go back or recommend Cassie. She even left me talking after I told her I didn't feel like it was fair to pay in full as hair was awful plus it doesn't even look like a balayage just ugly gray patches. Cassie discounted $100 from the total service this cost me $362 please do your research before you book your stylist if they have open books probably means they are just starting or crappy.

Best hair salon in Roseville!! Come get your hair done ! You'll get what you pay for and all the girls are extremely talented!

Angela is the best! I came in needing a color correction. I had a dark golden blonde with my outgrown roots. It was truly ugly. She did a full on my hair and toned it perfectly! Now I have a beautiful blonde color through my whole hair!She also helped me with one of my biggest insecurities. Bring a blonde, I had tons on breakage at my ends which made my hair two different lengths. She was able to put a few tape-in extensions in my hair and it added length and blended immaculately! You can't tell there's a few pieces of extensions and I'm so beyond happy with my hair now. Thank you, Angela for giving me hard to show off and be proud of!

The communication at this salon is extremely frustrating and disappointing. I originally sent the paragraph below to the beauty parlor IG account to maybe try to fix the issue in which the account read my message but never replied so now sadly I am going to publicly rate this salon and will be doing a goggle review as well. This is the original message:I'm quite disappointed in a number of the stylists that work here. I contacted 4 or 5 of them that "are accepting new clients" asking to make an appointment in which they all responded initially but then stopped responding and never actually booked anything with me. As stated before, this was in a private message to them in the hopes of them asking me who the stylists were and to try to schedule an appointment or maybe address the poor communication to the stylists. I wasn't trying to cause any issues but just wanted them to be aware of the poor communication on their behalf. I will not be recommending this salon to anyone. There are plenty of other salons that will get back to you the same, if not the next business day so if you're having issues with this salon like I did, message me and I can provide you with a list of others!

The beauty parlor is truly just a one of a kind salon. All the girls in the salon put there heart and souls into the clients that walk into the doors everyday. Angela has been doing my hair for the past 2 years I couldn't be happier with her work and love she puts into each foil on my head. I always leave happy!

Wonderful salon, pretty and clean inside. Everyone is so friendly. And I love how my hair turned out. Definitely coming back!

Amazing! Every hair stylist in this salon is kind, friendly, and professional. They've taken my hair from 0-10 and it is always an enjoyable experience from the 5 times I have already been. I would definitely recommend for anyone new to the hair world or if you need your hair refreshed!
