The Auburn Bodega

This place is fire !!!So absolutely delicious. I love the turkey melt they have! A friend of mine loves the Rueben! The staff is always super nice and the store is super cute. It's got a bunch of drinks and snacks to choose from to accompany your sandwich!It's really one of the best sandwiches I've had in years! Absolutely worth the price. They are pretty busy every time I come in here. So just be sure to leave ample time and bring a little patience. They're pretty quick at getting things out!You won't be disappointed

Nice little hole in the wall in downtown Auburn. I'd walked by many times and finally stopped in for lunch.My only regret is this was my first time. For such a small footprint of space they pack a LOT into it! Fresh food made to order while you wait a long with cold drinks and some bulk items as well.

I used to visit Auburn Bodega all the time when I lived in Auburn, and I loved it then-- but after moving away, I realized nothing really compares to their sandwiches. The Super Veggie Bro's Sis is my favorite, though I've tried almost all of their sandwiches and enjoy every one. I also recommend grabbing a juice or smoothie while you're there. You can take it all to go for a picnic by the river or stick around and enjoy it. Grab a piece of fruit, chips, and some chocolate, and you've got the perfect lunch!

Really like the vibes of the employees and this place overall! They use local ingredients which is a BIG PLUS for me, you can really taste it, they have some unique sandwich ideas, looking forward to trying something else on the menu.

Great little grocery store/deli. Sandwiches are amazing. The only girl working was an absolute rockstar juggling the orders and checking people out. Big props to her.

Amazing staff local fav Sammy shop with an amaz coconut wrap Sammy. It's a must try when you're up the hill.

Sandwiches were awesome. We went to a concert in the park and need a picnic type of food. I ordered the pastrami kraut melt. The guy said it was made with ready loaf size bread so we each order a sandwich instead of sharing-one. It was huge, I could only eat half. The other half was save for lunch the next day. I'll go back if I'm in Auburn.

Stopped in for the first time yesterday before a trail run. I ordered the Super Mario Bro's Sis sandwich but got it done as a wrap with the coconut tortilla. The bf ordered the avocado toast which came on a toasted seed bread, pickled red onions and sprouts. Both were soooo good!! They were incredibly filling and made with care. I was surprised to see so many vegan options. Now I have other sandwiches to look forward to in the future.The market itself was well-stocked with independent brands, local, organic, artisan products. We also picked up some kombucha, artisan ice cream bars, and some snackables for our short trip. This market is such a gem with its curated selection of fresh produce, ready-made items, cheeses, alcohol, baked goods, spices and more. I'll definitely be coming back!

I took my mom there and my mom asked the counter lady if she could make a smoothy but just leave out the orange juice because it hurts her stomach. The lady said yes, but according to my Mom, she saw the lady put some orange juice in it anyway. I ordered a smoothy with blueberries in it, I dont recall the name. Wasn't very good; didn't taste fresh. While we were in the store, the counter people there were ok; they asked what would we like - they were not rude to us two old ladies. My mom didn't tell me about her drink til drinks were already paid for and we were back in the car leaving. She didn't want to confront them; she's very elderly. Needless to say, she didn't drink any of it except for the first sip and she said she could definitely taste the orange. I wouldn't go back even if I lived in Auburn; I'm from San Diego just visiting my mom. My mom lives in Auburn and I know she definitely won't go back. Also, people are right; overpriced for what we had.
