The Annex Tap Room & Provisions

We went for a private event and had a great time. We brought a speaker for the outdoor patio area. Just our luck that the speaker died after playing for only a few minutes. Kelsey was one of our bartenders and she offered to RUN (yes, run!) to her house about 10 minutes away to get her personal portable speakers. Talk about customer service! Kelsey saved the day by going above and beyond for guest experience. She genuinely cared about ensuring our event was a success. Everyone knows how important music is during an event! I'm so glad Kelsey was working our event. Thank you Kelsey for your exceptional service and yummy drinks. Could I give 6 stars for Kelsey?

Great selection of beers, flame grilled pizza, good burgers (not worth $20), and street parking if you can find it. We had an excellent time here. Patio seating was fun and the servers were always making rounds outside to make sure we were happy. ThanKs Annex!

Stopped in here on our way back to Sac from Tahoe on a late Sunday afternoon. It was packed! For 2 pm I didn't expect it to be so busy. Luckily the waitress that sat us was awesome and she told us when 2 seats in the window opened up. We had the annex IPA and the gold digger IPA, both great beers! My boyfriend had the big boy burger and I had the annex burger. I haven't had that good of a burger in a long time, and my boyfriend said his was amazing also. We both plan to make the 40 minute drive from Sacramento for another burger and beer here! It was that good! While it was super busy, the service was excellent, the food was amazing and the town of Auburn is adorable. We will be back and recommend to everyone we know.

I've been to the original Auburn Ale House across the street many times over the years. It's been a favorite of mine and I always hit it when I'm driving through. Last time the place was packed I ventured across the street to The Annex. It's a great addition to the area. Same quality food, but with fewer options. The addition of the wood-fired pizzas was nice. They serve AAH beer so you can get all the favorites on tap. The service was fast and friendly. It's small, but I love what they did with the building. It has all the charm of downtown Auburn. Definitely check this place out.

We have been loyal customers of the Auburn Ale house and decided we should try their new venture. In a word: disappointing. The service was disorganized - the server did not know about the beers - one of us received his beer 20 minutes after the others - the food came at different times etc. those of us who ordered the sliders asked for BBQ sauce which they did not have and instead were given salad dressing. Also, the atmosphere is"wild" and noisy - which makes it difficult to have any sort of conversation. We hope that they get their act together soon but for now will go back to the Ale House.

Great atmosphere and wonderful wait staff. Small well thought out menu and most of the Auburn Alehouse beers.

It was an Exceptional choice and exactly what my husband wanted for his 60th Birthday with his childhood friends. We love the Ale house so this was a perfect fit. Talk about EXCELLENCE, the Food, the Service, and a special Shout out to Kelsey who was AMAZING in all setup aspects. She worked the bar, set up the buffet, and attended to our every need, even offering to help with set up. The Event was Spectacular in every way. Kelsey is absolutely an asset to the Ale house and event planning.

Auburn Alehouse was close and we were hungry after a hike! Great flight of beer and attentive staff member if when they seem short staffed !!Burger flavor was delicious but it's was cold and portion was smaller for $20! Sweet potato fries was the star it had a hint of citrus and crispy not soggy at all even though they were cold!

Great food, great beverages, great service, very cool vibe. We stumbled on this place and it was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend it

So sad to report this. I've been a huge fan of their pizza. I've told people over and over it's the best pizza in Northern Cal. Sadly, it isn't anymore. Since they reopened, their pizza is no different then a frozen pizza at Safeway. The only reason I write this, is that I want them to succeed and go back to their amazing pizza. Until then it sucks
