Great food and it gets a five because it's a food truck with cool outdoor area. Pot stickers are amazing and drunken noodles are great. If it was a restaurant it would be around a four because of odd hours....that being said the portions are great and food is great. Stop by and have the drunken noodles. Yummy (check if it's open first).

Every time I go there, the food truck is closed even though their website says it's open.My last attempt was this last friday for dinner. Their website said they were open 4:00pm-7:30pm. Again It was completely shut down even though their website said they were open. I've tried three times now. Very disappointing.

This is the best Thai food that I have had! Ordered online and picked up. Food was hot and ready to go! Staff were great! Would love to sit out when the weather is perfect and enjoy the scenery! Definitely not your average food truck!

Sudden Thai papaya salad craving lead me to place an order online to this never had before hidden food trailer. To say the least, I was thinking, "oooh, food trailer! Food has to be good!" And when I try new places, I tend to order authentic menu items and go from there hopefully on my next visit. Unfortunately, I got back to my office, and regrettably will not return to Thai Village House. Ordered the Thai papaya salad going on photos that are obviously from the owner and being on the receiving end, it is not what you receive (see photo). And for the price, is a definite, NEVER AGAIN. $12.95 for a small portion plus I added extra vegetables for $1.00 and I couldn't seem to place where the extra veggies were placed because it definitely was not in the to-go container. I also requested, as "special instructions" for "extra sour and extra sweet" and I tell you, not even the base flavors were there which should normally consist of: fish sauce, lime, sugar, tamarind sauce all of which were not present. Being Thai myself, I am dissatisfied. Not to mention the Thai tea for $5.00 was mostly cream flavored rather than Thai flavored. To the owner: I'm hoping you truly do go to a Thai restaurant and order papaya salad so you can at least attempt to have the base flavors in future orders. Aside from my negative review, cute set up and creative way to use the extra front yard space on your property! Good luck!

So happy to have a great Thai place in Penryn! We were pleasantly surprised to have such tasty food coming from a small food truck. We live about 10 minutes away. We put our order in online, drove to get it, and it was ready when we arrived. It's so easy to get on and off the freeway to reach this place. We ordered the drunken noodles, egg rolls and coconut curry soup which came with rice. Everything was hot and tasty. The owners are very pleasant too. Nice seating area, although we took our order to go. They have live bands that play here on some weekends. Check their Facebook page for more details. It's a quick drive even from Roseville or Auburn; just hop on the freeway. Nice, pleasant spot in the country away from the big crowds.

Not sure what to say. We caught them this evening at Moonraker. We were really excited. We ordered Pad Thai, and Drunken Noodles. It was inedible. It was old, dry, tasteless. I even ordered the Drunken Noodles "hot", it was not at all. Honestly, we couldn't tell the difference between the two dishes. Good thing we had grabbed Burger King nuggets and fries for our grandson, we helped him with that, as our meals went in the trash. Maybe an "off" day? I don't know. But based on this experience, I cannot recommend.

Who would have thought - awesome Thai food in a truck off the side of the highway!Have tried the pad see ew, fried rice and yellow curry and all have been great! Definitely will be back!

Best Thai food we've had in Placer County. We ordered Thai ice tea, Thai wings, and drunken noodle with beef and prawn, everything was excellent and we will be back.

We have been there a few times and liked the food... I hoped they would get to be busier BUT on Sunday we went there .. the truck was open and the guy inside looked at my husband and said ' I'm on lunch'We found this oddNot a good plan for business ... not sure if we will be back
