Teriyaki Time

Restaurant is an exceptionally clean. Teriyaki plate was simple but amazing and well balanced. Seemed very clean and the portion size was very fair. If anything more chicken on the plate than I expected. Considering all restaurants now a days are unreasonable with prices and portions. You can see the kitchen and watch them cook. There kitchen /stations were maintained and very clean and organized. I got the vibe that they possibly may be family oriented owners. But that's just a hunch from the vibe. Regardless. Both employees were working and being productive , not standing around on phone like other places. I will be back often.

Went there for a quick bite, thinking a Teriyaki bowl would be awesome. Well, I was wrong. A Chicken Teriyaki Bowl and a soda set me back about $18. There's a machine at the counter that can take your order, but there's also a guy in front of the machine taking orders, so that was sort of weird. The bowl was a bunch of lukewarm rice, some ice cold vegetables (I'm guessing they purposely put the vegetables in the fridge before putting them on the bowl. Either that, or they just gave me cold left-overs.) The chicken was DRY. DRY DRY DRY. The teriyaki sauce that accompanied it was good, but very small container was given to me, and that didn't make a dent on the dryness. My feeling after reading the reviews here is that they didn't like me and they gave me the most "we don't want to see your face back here" meal they could think of. I did see them greeting some customers who were obviously regulars with happy faces and the customer getting food they were happy with. Unfortunately that wasn't me.In any event, I don't think I'm going back.

Chicken was so dry and hard it was completely inedible, I had to throw out a 50 dollar dinner and go somewhere else.

Got the combo of spicy thai chicken and beef teriyaki with rice and veggies which was a perfect pair. The spicy thai chicken was spicy enough for my taste while the beef teriyaki was sweet which made them a complimentary pair. The service was fast and the crew were nice. The tables and chairs were clean enough but there were only a few available.

Good service and servings. The daily lubch specials are good. I really like the Tuesdays & Thursdays lunch. But sometimes the chicken is cooked a bit to well. It still a great meal but i like my meat tender.

WHY WE WENT HERE:- quick lunch after shopping in MarshallsTHE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE):- located in the plaza off Natomas Blvd and Park Pl Dr- located in the same plaza as Marshalls and Planet Fitness- located in the food corner of the plaza sandwiched between El Burrito and Jack's Urban EatsTHE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE):- some seating inside at either wall- clean bathroom- order from the touch-screen kioskTHE MENU:- teriyaki noodle- side orders- teriyaki bowl- fountain drinks- teriyaki plate- tempura plate- teriyaki combo plate- saladWHAT WE ORDERED:- miso soup with green onion and tofu- side steamed broccoli w/sesame dressing- egg rolls- spicy chicken plate (deep-fried, popcorn style)THE TASTE:- miso soup with green onion and tofu - piping hot! tofu was cut super small which was fine- side steamed broccoli w/sesame dressing - surprisingly cold, but refreshing with the sesame dressing which I appreciated being on the side- egg rolls - crispy outside but didn't like how the filling was slimy like chopsuey; surprisingly also very ginger forward- spicy chicken plate (deep-fried, popcorn style) - SO was satiated; cabbage was cold, appreciated that the sauce was on the side; chicken was HUGECUSTOMER SERVICE:- minimal since ordering was through the touch-screen kiosk

I got the salmon plate , and opted for broccoli instead of the salad , I paid $3 extra for a scoop of broccoli, the broccoli was ice cold so I found it strange that it was on a plate of hot food , the food was good , but I wasn't to happy to receive a $3 scoop of ice cold vegetables. The service was semi okay because I did go during lunch time . I advise avoiding the lunch rush because that definitely influence the quality of food I received.

I had lunch here, today. I don't know what happened, but my lunch was terrible. The sesame chicken was dried out, and the portion was minimal. The rice was cold and the Tempura had a strange flavor. I threw away most of my meal. And the bottled Diet Pepsi was expired. Don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.

Excellent food and service. The portions fill me which is rare. I do recommend this restaurant.

LITERALLY THE DRIEST CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD! they may be good if you like dark meat, but white meat? NOIt tasted like it was cooked 3 days ago reheated yesterday and reheated todayCame out quickly since it was cooked on Tuesday but. HorridI soaked in teriyaki sauce but my jaw still hirts from trying to chew that shoe soleNO!Horrible
