Tequileros Taqueria

We have been on a breakfast burrito kick lately, and decided to try this new restaurant. My husband and I each got a breakfast burrito with chorizo, tequilero style. Our burritos were both really delicious, but I felt like it was overwhelmed with fries, and not enough eggs. Both of their hot sauces were very flavorful- the mild is green, the hot is red. I did find the interior ambiance to be kind of strange and not the most comfortable for dine-in. Dining area had Spanish music playing, but the kitchen area (which is open to the dining space) was blasting pop music. Just too loud and overstimulating.

So far I've ordered the Carne Asada Super Burrito and Chicken Super Burrito-- both were so delicious! They melt the cheese on the tortilla, so good! Love the fresh cilantro and different salsas they have (verde is mild, red is hot). The burritos have so much flavor, so happy to finally have a good Mexican food joint in the area! The service has been friendly and quick.The place is small, but clean and comfy.Thank you so much!

Nailed esthetic, vibes are there everything was clean and organized. Welcomed by two kind women in the front desk. Kitchen is happy and singing loved it. Order first and then you take a seat yourself, no waitering services. I ordered nachos de pastor 6/10 portion is smaller then post placed, cheese was "Mexican mix" not melted meat was not impressive. Agua de horchata is very sweet this is common for taste to remain after ice but still too sweet. Two different songs playing one in restaurant one in kitchen both good music but very annoying having them both played at the same time. I went with family they ordered Birria fries no flavor to the birria :/ Beans rice burrito rice no flavor :/ Super burrito with chicken I think this was the one with the least flavor :/ Salsa was on point!! Total was $72.32 Execution is there just flavor improvement is needed have faith they will get there still very new

It's hard to decide is this a 3 or a 4? Ambiance is nice. The neon signs gives it a pop. The food -Regular steak taco - very plain. Needs seasoning. The steak tasted dry. Hot sauce wasn't very spicy. 2/5 would not get again. Tequilero steak taco - mild sauce. This was good. I like the tequilero sauce and grilled cheese. This should be the standard option. Not at an up charge $1. 4/5. 5/5 if it was same price as regular taco. Quessabiria tacos - Birria was good. Crisp. Very hot. If anything. It needs a tad more seasoning. Tacos itself 4/5The consome. It was flavorful but too watery. Slightly thicker would make it better to dip. 3/5A few changes and it would be a 5/5 but as it stands. There just isn't enough for me to come back. So it sits at a 3/5.

Tequileros Taqueria is a must-try! I stopped by during their grand opening and was immediately impressed. The decor is super cute and trendy, perfect for grabbing tacos and hanging out.Let's talk about the asada tacos--chef's kiss. They're flavorful and even better with their tequilero sauce. Seriously, that sauce takes them to the next level!Service was nice, everyone was friendly, and the vibe overall was great. If you're looking for delicious tacos and a fun spot to eat, this is it!

Cute space to grab a bite to eat real quick, decor is really nice and creates a cool vibe, the young lady at the register was outstandingly sweet and she kept the tables clean and made sure to be available for all the Uber/doordashers/or whatever delivery services were entering the doors.. I tried the keto tacos -very yummy, my husband tried the fish tacos (fish was way over cooked and had no actual taste of fish)... we shared the chips & guac/salsa... the guacamole was missing the other ingredients tho... no pico de gallo or lime juice so basically smashed avocado.. but we ate it so yeah..

Tried their breakfast burrito and was very disappointed. Unfortunately it arrived with rice, ingredients were not well distributed, and a little greasy. Really seemed like the rice took the place of the steak and eggs that should have been more abundant.If you do want seem cheesy goodness, try the Jalapeno Teq, half a jalapeño rolled in a crispy cheese crust. Very tasty. Looks like a cute place to stop by & people seem to enjoy the birria.

Bacon breakfast burrito was filled with fat/cartilage pieces and not actual bacon. Nachos were cold and cheese was not melted.Interior of restaurant is cute though.I was standing at the counter for a solid minute with the cashier turned with her back toward the counter, talking to the cook.Definitely have had better, authentic Mexican food.(Also they charge for extra salsa in small containers which is also something I have experienced.)Overall, not impressed.

This is definitely one of the best taquerias in Sacramento. The carne asada fries are amazing. Bri was also so helpful and provided excellent customer service.

Ordered two tacos and a burrito I've been going to Elk Grove location for a long time and never disappoint sBut gave new location a try and Burrito was under sized For some reason it's not what normally is served at the food truck Kitchen must be having a bad day
