I've been hearing about this truck for along time and wanted to give this a try. I preorder online at 4:20, and arrived promptly at 4:21 to pick up my food. My food was ready when I arrived and the service was good. When I came home, the food was cold (10 minute drive) and felt like my food been sitting out for a long time. The food taste like something I get at a fast food place, nothing special. But the salsa though taste good, especially the salsa verde. I had to reheat my food since it was so cold in the air fryer which made it taste better, but I shouldn't have to reheat something if it's made fresh. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place, the food is just okay, and the price I pay ($15 with tip) was not worth the money.

My friends said they have been coming to this taco trunk whenever they are craving tacos. There are a few customers standing there and I wasn't sure if there was a line. I asked around and proceeded to the order window. Perhaps it was difficult for the cashier to hear us. I'm unsure if it's loud inside the truck but we had to repeat our orders a few times. I don't think we waited too long for the food to come out. I appreciate that they are able to make my meal without cilantro, but with onions. A lot of places already mix those two ingredients together so I always have to go buy my own onion at the market. I wish I have ate my food right when we got them, perhaps in our car. By the time we got home, the tortillas are soggy and I did not think the meal was good. I'd love to come back and try this again, and will eat it while it's fresh.

Place was a little difficult to find. For some reason Google gave me an address next to Costco on E. Stockton Blvd in a parking lot. Notice it was not located there.Went into Yelp and pulled up the address and it was 8338 Power Inn Road right by Texas Roadhouse in the AmPm parking lot. I kept seeing them on Instagram and wanted to try their food! My anticipation was growing. I ordered a regular surf and turf burrito and 2 cheese jalapeños. The burrito was not bad and was delicious!! The jalapeño cheeses were okay. Maybe they should be filled with cream cheese, deep fried, and then grilled on the stove top in cheese. Just a suggestion. But overall, the staff were very friendly and I would definitely come back to try other items. I have a picture of their current menu as of 10/6/24.

Tried the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was super greasy, but tasty after adding beans and cheese. Also tried the asada torta, meat was well seasoned but small portion overall.

Ordered on DoorDash again. This time my husband tried it. It was delicious. We ordered the asada keto tacos. The Tortilla was not soggy and it held up the food, never broke, no fork needed to eat! I was surprised. Thank you for the keto option.

In November, I attended the grand opening of the Howe Avenue location! They were giving away free tacos to the first 25 people. I was number eight in line. I've already tried this establishment via their taco truck in elk Grove so I was ecstatic that they were opening a spot in Sacramento on Howell Avenue in a great location. You have to try these tacos. You have to try the other things on the menu, especially those cheese, wrapped jalapeños! Everything is good fresh and definitely made with love! This is a family own business. They are the nicest people and I'm so happy I got to attend this event. It's a vibrant environment, but cozy as well.

Must get the tequilero fries with Al pastor!!!! I extremely appreciate that they serve it with skinny fries ( like mcdonald's) which makes it perfect so you get the perfect amount of fries to meat/topping ratio. Service it pretty quick. Prices are reasonable. This is a food truck in the chevron gas station, so no seating. Highly recommend eating in your car so you can eat it hot and fresh.

I've been wanting to try this place out for a long time, but finally did it via Door Dash. The food was made really quickly. As soon as it got to my house, I started eating. My favorite thing was definitely the cheese jalapeño. I would order more, if it wasn't unhealthy. The tacos Tequileros were also good. Packed with meat and toppings. I didn't find myself looking for extra sauce or salsa. It was flavorful. I definitely want to try the burritos or fries next time.

From the flavor to the service, Tequileros Taqueria Truck was a flawless experience! My family and I ordered during dinner time, around 6pm. Despite the line, we only waited around 5-10 minutes after ordering. There is a separate window designated for ordering and one for pickup. We could tell our food was made fresh, because it was hot off the grill. My family is vegetarian, so I appreciate that this truck had plenty options for them! They offer multiple protein options for their menu (including veggies). Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful and proportionate. Including the veggies. This is definitely a spot I will be visiting again!

My daughter recommended this one, she loved it so I checked it out Sunday and Monday. It's a clean looking food truck @ Bond and Laguna, Elk Grove. Shell gas station lot.I loved it too. The Asada Fries were very good. VIVA MEXICO! Their pride is displayed right on top with the stripes of green, white, and red sauces(Mexican flag). I've had better flavored Al Pastor, but that's kinda irrelevant. This one tasted good and was not greasy with pig fat like others I've had before. I thought the meat quality and preparation here are very good. The Al Pastor and the Asada were both tender and not fatty much at all. I love cheese, but not so much on Mexican food for some reason. The keto taco shell is all cheese and the cheesy jalapeño is half a pepper enveloped by a big cheesy blanket. Both in the 3rd pic below. So that plate was pretty oily, yet I enjoyed the novelty and flavor of both and would eat them again.Asada fries($13), keto taco($4.25), reg taco($2.75), cheese covered pepper($1). I really appreciated the salsa fresca on the tacos and fries. It was fresh with crispy chunks of red onion. It hadn't been soaking in its own juices like standard pico de gallo I believe. On food alone I would go 4 stars. I'm going with 5 stars because my daughter really loved this place and the freshness of the food and some fresh ideas. I'm always down for innovative ideas.
