Tea Garden

This place has been a staple in our family for Chinese food even before we went to this location. Once upon a time they had a sister store, so we were over the moon to find out about this location when the sister store closed. There food is always consistent and well done. They have great customer service and remember their customers. Inside has a nice amount of seating for dining in & it gives the basic Chinese restaurant vibe. Overall the main place we visit whenever the Chinese food craving hits & fabulous mom and pop place!

Service was good. The food all came out hot and fresh. My favorite dish was the fried green beans and shrimp. It's got a chill vibe just a nice local Chinese spot.

I was close by at the hair salon with my lady when we decided to eat somewhere close by. She kept this gem hidden from me and I'm sad we didn't come sooner. I ordered the mandarin chicken combo plate which included soup of the day (hot & sour) best I've had, pork fried rice, and chow mein. The chow mein was not greasy but tasted great as did the rice. The mandarin chicken was also superb. The service was great ! Our waiter was attentive, kind, and very welcoming. I should have asked for a 2nd bowl of the soup it was so good. There wasn't too many people but a large birthday party group. It felt really cozy inside and smelled amazing from all the different dishes being made. I will definitely be coming back with my lady when she gets her hair done so we can have this again.

The location and ambience:The Resturant is easy to locate and has plenty of parking. The atmosphere is average, nothing fancy. There are an ample number of booths and tables for patrons. Large group seating would probably be fine if the restaurant is not overly busy. We went before the dinner crowd, around 3:30 on a Friday and we were the only ones there, so we had our pick of booth or table. There were a couple of people that came in to pick up orders while we waited for our dinner.The Food:We ordered several entrees: two different plates: (1) Sweet and Sour Pork Plate and Egg Drop soup(2) Chicken with garlic sauce over rice; fried chicken appetizer; and a to go meal, Tofu with two types of mushrooms. The portions were large and the food was excellent. Waiting time was reasonable given what we ordered, also we were the only ones there. Our food was served hot, not lukewarm. Like I said the portions were large and we ended up with leftovers in addition to the To-Go Meal. I had my tofu and mushroom for dinner the next day and it was very tasty over rice.Service:Sever was friendly and refilled our drinks regularly throughout the course of eating. She answered questions we had about the menu items which helped us with choosing our meals. Our To Go Meal was ready when we were ready to leave and that was a nice surprise that we did not have to wait for it after we finished.Pricing:Individual and combination meal items are reasonably priced, but can add up quickly if you are hungry. There are a plethora of tasty choices on the menu, something for everyone. I plan to eat here again, or do take out.Recommendation:I definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.

This is my to go place for delicious Chinese food! The service is always good and they give good portions. Dining there is also nice. Very quiet. Love that you can order online then pick-up orders.

My friend brought me here. I loved the meal. Nothing we ordered was subpar; it was all excellent. The staff was helpful and the service was fast. If you are looking for some tasty Chinese, this is the spot for you.

I wasn't warned about the amount of food they give you! Such polite and courteous people.

Originally wanted Streetzlan but they were closed so instead of walking back to work defeated, I walked over to Tea Garden. Upon arriving, I was seated immediately with a menu at hand. Before walking in I already knew I wanted chow mien. I ended up getting their chicken chow mien lunch special which came with either fried rice or white rice. I ended up going for the fried rice to go along with my noodles and some hot tea. Carbs on carbs lol. After ordering I just browsed on my phone then less than 10 mins later, my food was in front of me. It was fresh and super hot. Just the way I like it. Noodles were good, fried rice was good. I ended up packing up the rice since the noodles filled me up. Overall, great first experience. Food was good, decently priced (food + tea came out to be like $14), service was good and fast, and restaurant was clean. I will be back on another lunch break. There were a lot of options to choose from so I now I gotta back to try these other options lol.

Excellent service and food. I like the Orange Chicken plate. Nice clean location and will go back for more.
