I look forward the Alex T's Friendsgiving Study Sesh every year because it's great opportunity to meet up with a several Super cool, Sacto Yeeps and catch up & kick out some reviews. This was the 3rd annual study sesh held at the T.bar Fusion Cafe in midtown sac. And all the employees at this sweet little tea house were so kind and accommodating to us yeeps. Alex had things set up in the back corner of the House, as we all sat at what appeared to be a big giant table, which was actually several small tables pushed together yeep family style. Initially I struggled a bit with WiFi connectivity for my iPad, however, in betwixt, and in between all the lively conversations, my tablet eventually was dialed in. I was able to complete a few reviews while sipping my warm tea. By the way T bar's tea service was outstanding and the chili lime chicken protein/ salad bowl that I had was simply scrumptious.

I may not be able to check in (damn this Yelp app) but I can post my review. An excuse to spill the tea and drink it too. With or without a fancy timer. I giggled next to Rich L and wondered if the two across from me are secretly dating. Jury's still out on that one lol.All while I sipped Pomegranate Splash Green Tea and chowed down on my Fusion Bowl. Yum. Nice catching up with y'all.

Originally this was supposed to be a review for a UYE page (for a Unofficial YellAboutIt Event held at Tea Bar on Capitol Ave) that I guess offended the Yelp Gods and was either taken down or merged into this business page. Ok? Whatevs.Zero stars, I can't check in!Just kidding just kidding. Thanks Alex T. for setting up a study sesh where I worked very hard ....to battle my adhd brain into focusing on writing reviews. Ha. Well here is review #2. Tea Bar is perfect for studying, working, sipping, and eating.I've been here once before so I knew I wanted a vegetarian fusion bowl. This time I chose ginger tofu with couscous and veggies and of course teriyaki dressing. For my tea I chose the Peach Palmer: black tea, lemonade, peach puree and boba pearls. Everything was yummy. We had a good turnout tonight! Nice to see everyone! Happy Friendsgiving! Thanks Mitzi for the extra donut with chocolate sauce. mmmmmm yiss.Anyway. Time to review the strip club.Edit: I forgot what the heck I ordered and had to go look at the menu. I didn't even get a spiked drink ;-)

Tea Bar & Fusion was such a cool find. Ive never seen so many different types of tea options. Different variations of tea like frozen, frosted, sparkling, steamed and iced tea, they had it all. There is also a few different healthy fusion bowls and wraps to go along with your drink. The inside is such a nice aesthetic and clean. Clean is huge for me lol. Service was nice but a bit slow though and it wasnt busy at all hence the 4 instead of 5

I like this place, but disappointed again with my mango seared pork bowl I got today. They go skimp on the meat (5 small cubes of pork) and almost every cube of pork had fat attached to it. I'm not paying for fat! Stop ripping customers off please! Thanks!

Long time customer, first time disappointment. I've been a customer of Tea Bar for over a decade now, dating back to my college years in Chico. I almost always get a bowl, and while they have always been expensive, they have always been a good value. Good healthy food and lots of it. This time was different. We ordered to go and by the time we got home and opened the bag, I got an overwhelming feeling of being cheated. There may have been four small pieces of chicken in my wife's bowl and it seems as though someone barely gave any thought to the food they arranged in our bowls. Looks like the bowls MAY have had $4 worth of ingredients in it. This is the first time I have had this experience so I'll give Tea Bar another chance. I hope this is not another instance of a restaurant cutting corners at their customers expense. Throughly frustrated and disappointed.

I'm so disappointed! My family has eaten here many times and loved it. Today all of our dishes were sub par. The avocado was inedible, and the couscous had so much pepper none of us could eat it. We asked about the mango pork, which we've had many times but this time was dry, no sauce and flavorless. We were told that's how it comes. Not in our experience! Won't come back now. Left hungry!
