We went here over the weekend to celebrate my dad's bday! We had an outstanding experience. My family and I have come here in the past, and we just love the food and the vibe. Very suspicious so you don't feel cramped and how the food is served all prepared and cooked for you! I love this simple concept so much more than the AYCE hot pot places.. struggling to get food at the bar and having to cook it yourself! There is a reason why I want to eat out, because I don't want to cook for myself and my kiddos lol. The broth is so flavorful and they give you sooo much meats and toppings! I love how they will come around and asked if you need a refill of broth. My go to is the Taiwanese soup. My kids love the Japanese Miso Hot Soup, we order 2-3 sides of udons as well since they love udon noodles. The waiters are so kind and attentive for our large party and we left very satisfied! I highly recommend. We made reservations for a large party in advance which I highly recommend and they went beyond and set up a private room for us.Thank you Tasty Pot for an amazing experience, my dad devoured the big bowl. We will definitely be back!

We visited Tasty Pot for lunch right before the new year. I've visited other concepts with a set hot pot menu like Tasty Pot's, and I really liked the variety of options this menu offered. The larger sizes were generous for their additional cost, and I enjoyed my #9 (though I did not find the "very" spicy to have much kick at all).Other folks at my table did not get so lucky, as there were ingredients missing from their pots. Noticeably, there were no lotus roots or beech mushrooms in any of the pots that were meant to have them. However, service was spotty and we weren't able to ask about these between the time our meals were served and when I had to call the main phone line (to bring a staff member out) to pay for my bill as there was nobody on the main floor during and after our meal. That being said, the folks who brought me here have had previously good experiences after the new management was in place. So we're blaming the holidays for the subpar service, and I'll be back on a regular weekend to give them another try. P.S. While all of the advertisements outside are still about specials from November, the only special that was still valid was the 10% cash discount.

Food is good. Went here for dinner with my wife. Super nice people. But when it came time to pay, there is where the problem was. (I ordered through a server and also used the facebook promotion to get a free Boba drink.)The cashier told me the total and it seemed a bit high for what I was expecting especially with a 15% discount. I gave him cash for the transaction and afterwards, I got my receipt. There is an automatic gratuity that I wasn't notified on before I checked out. I put some cash in the tip jar before I noticed the tip added to the bill..a business should never put automatic gratuity for a table of 2. I understand why for larger parties, but for a table of 2. Or at least print the receipt out before asking me to pay so I can see my total..

My wife and I were heading home, debating what to have for dinner. We both had a craving for burgers, so Habit Burger was our first thought. We were on Pleasant Grove Blvd. and passed it by before completely making up our minds; so, we went a little further down the road and turned into the Safeway parking lot to turn around. That's when Tasty Pot caught our eye. I mentioned I'd always wanted to try it, and my wife was game. We found a parking spot and walked in, pleasantly surprised to see they were having a Grand Reopening with a 15% discount!A friendly employee greeted us and ended up being our server. He was incredibly patient, explaining the menu in detail since we were newbies. We ordered two green teas and fried potstickers to start. For our main dishes, I chose the #11 Sichuan Flavor Hot Soup (I love a good kick!), and my wife went with the #10 Japanese Miso Hot Soup. Our food arrived piping hot in these neat warming pots--definitely no risk of cold food here! We turned off the warming candles and dug in.Honestly, the food was just okay for us, sort of bland, not really to our taste. However, judging by other reviews, a lot of people seem to love it.Just a heads-up: it's a bit pricey. Our meal of potstickers, two hot soups, and two green teas came to $70.90, even with the 15% discount. In the end, I'd say give Tasty Pot a try if you're curious. The place is quiet, clean, and has a nice ambiance. Just be prepared for the prices.---How's that? Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to tweak!

Fun tasty pot location! After seeing similar social media posts on tasty pots, we just had to give this local spot in Roseville and try. Service was fantastic, staff is super friendly, seating is spacious, place is very clean, parking is generous, and food selections were cast for the different types of pot dishes. This is where personal preference comes into play - only reason I'm not giving it a solid 5 stars is simply because my wife and I learned that this style of food is just not our cup of tea. Food was great, don't get me wrong, but we really would rather prefer Vietnamese Pho, Korean BBQ, or Japanese Shabu. If you're curious about the taste and the experience - absolutely a must try and this would be a highly recommended place to test things out!

Decided to try the Cheesy Milk Hot Soup and I was not disappointed. The combination of the milk and cheese flavor was surprisingly good. We also ordered calamari, popcorn chicken, fries and wings which were all good too. The service was great. The servers kept checking in on us specially since we were seated at the other side of the restaurant where it was more secluded.

Haven't had a bad meal here! Service is always quick and attentive. Veggie soup refills frequently offered. I must say, I have been here over 4 times and have always had the same server. He's quick, attentive and super soft spoken. They used to play pop Vietnamese music when they first opened. The last couple of visits have been radio pop hits. My favorites are Kimchi and Beef broths. They now serve stinky tofu!!! A classic yet very distinguished flavor. Not for the faint of hearts. Will come back next time for that. They also have a sizzling plate resembling pepper lunch or fajita plate!

The sizzling plates was overwhelmingly drenched in butter, to the point where it splattered all over the table, with nearly 80% of the plate submerged in it. I've enjoyed teppanyaki and Pepper Lunch USA before, but this was by far one of the most disappointing takes I've ever had.
