Taste of Thai

Adaptability! My partner and I dropped in at 8pm on a Friday after the 4th of July. Shortly after a party of 11, 7, and 4 were sat. Considering they closed at 9?! Way to go front and back house restaurant staff! They also had people picking up to go orders! Handled very well! I ordered the chicken pad Thai, my Mussanan Curry. Timely and delicious. A great date for us, thanks!

Great thai restaurant in downtown Grass Valley! They are located in the Alpa building on Main Street. I have included pictures of the entire menu.My favorite dish for when i am not very hungry is the Satay Chicken on skewers! It comes with a small cucumber and peanut sauce cups. SO delicious! I also had the sticky rice which was a nice side to go with the chicken. If you are hungry ORDER the lunch specials!Jasmin waited on me and she was sweet and accommodating. All the employees today were very friendly. The inside is decorated nicely with a beautiful brick wall. It smells so good when you walk inside!They serve beer and wine as well. Parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak times. They open at 1130 for lunch. I would recommend making a reservation on the weekends. Dine in or take out.Great experience with kind employees!

This restaurant is in a really cool older building. The restaurant is nicely decorated, modern and clean. We were seated immediately. Our server was very nice and gave us some great suggestions. Not sure what the entree was but we got it with pork and it was delicious. We ordered it medium spicy and it was tasty but needed the added kick of the spice tray :) We also ordered the fresh spring rolls with tofu. The rolls were nicely packed with fresh ingredients and the two sauces were great (peanut sauce - tasted like it had coconut, and the sweet chili sauce was great). Definitely a great place for Thai food. Will definitely return for more

A friend and I went here for lunch. The service and staff are friendly and kind. We had the coconut soup, red yellow and green curry. Everything had good flavor, but all of the dishes were kind of watered down. Usually, my experience with the curries is that they are thicker and more rich in flavor. I don't think the locals would notice, but I'm from the Asian Capital of South Sac and I know what good THAI food is look. I will continue my search for my favorite THAI restaurant in Nevada county.

Service was friendly and good. Food was good. Portion sizes were on the lite side. My only beef was that the fresh rolls were highly priced at $13 but the portion size was quite small. Very nice restaurant. I usually don't comment or gush much about the inside but, it was pretty nice. I especially liked the huge ceilings and rock walls. Very popular place and recommended. If you want cabbage wedges with your Larbguy salad, just ask.

This is a nice restaurant in down town Grass Valley. Nice ambiance, and friendly staff. Our waitress was helpful, timely, and courteous. The food came out super quick and tasted quite well. We are vegan, and enjoyed pineapple fried rice with tofu and extra veggies, pad see ew tofu/no egg, eggplant tofu, and yellow curry. Some flavors were lacking a bit, but overall, the tastes were enjoyable all together, and I'm sure we'll be back. Next time, I'll try their Tom Ka soup!

New favorite place!!!I have yet to get a bad meal from them.I try something different every time I have gone and each time I find something new and wonderful to try. The basil fried rice is so flavorful. I was shocked that rice could have such wonderful taste. I mean it's rice, try it!Busy place service is good.

Impromptu late lunch did not disappoint. Our server Jasmine was very kind and accommodating. The red curry was so rich and nourishing. We ordered it hot and it was so spicy good! Chicken skewers and steamed veggies were perfect for the kiddos The ambiance is warm and unique. Will definitely return.

We used to go here often before Covid. This was our first time back. Seems like the food has gotten even better! We left thinking about the next time we could come back.

Taste of Thai never disappoints! We have a very picky family and there is a dish that every person loves here. The service is always pleasant as well.
