Cute little market tucked in this shopping center.So many interesting dried products and a deli case.There is a kitchen in the back of the store.Wow oh wow for the desserts. Delicious. Highly recommend getting some.Support local businesses!

Extremely racist encounter today. I purchased two Mărțișor and the lady at the counter forgot to put them in my bag. When I returned, she swore up and down she bagged them. I told her they were not in there and that I already checked. She had the audacity to say, in front of customers, that she thinks I am lying. She proceeded to throw the cards on the counter. I informed her I don't appreciate her racism and that I will no longer be a patron. Why would I lie about some cheap greeting cards? Pathetic. As a Black Romanian, I am extremely disheartened to receive this treatment.

This store is never open when I come to shop! I don't understand how the owner can have this place closed during business hours!!! First, she opens late (10:00 am), then she puts a sign up that she'll be back at 1:30 when her store was not open! At least, close it for 2 weeks if you need a break! Second, some products are expired already and they are on the shelves with regular price! I am taking my business somewhere else!! Sorry this store doesn't deserve my 1 hour drive just to see that it's close!!! Very disappointing - this is my 3rd and final attempt! There are some good Russian stores around, eager for business!

Hours on YELP are wrong. I've tried to eat here twice now, each time I come they are closed. They have completely inconsistent hours, it's annoying.

This place has really gone downhill since the ownership change. I used to come here for the Romanian deserts which were always fresh and delicious. Since the new owner took over the deserts are very substandard. Things taste like she makes one soupy vanilla sauce for everything... sorry but an eclair and a cremesh have to have real vanilla custardy goodness in them not some crap frosting. Also, presentation is severely lacking and sometimes I feel like very old deserts are lumped in with the new so they would sell. And by the way get rid of the horrible styrofoam containers! Terrible for the environment...The new owner is kind of rude. Barely greets you when you walk in and walks past you to go in the back and do whatever she does and doesn't come out for a while. I get that she's working alone mostly but communicate a little ok? Today I went in for some amandine which she didn't have and settled on some savarine but after waiting for a bit with no acknowledgement decided to leave and probably not come back. Good luck with the business. It would've been better if you tried to value your customers a little.

This store never answer the phone...we can't drive 100 miles to get there and find out they don't have what we want.

I want to thank Katerina from the bottom of my heart for being a very attentive, sensitive, polite and cheerful hostess-seller! I also want to note her for respect for customers! She is very hardworking, sympathetic and always ready to help those in need. And the bread she bakes is not to be found in all of America. She also makes delicious sweets. I wish Katerina good health, happiness and great success in her hunger-saving noble work!!!

Mititei, sarmale, cirnatzi and other Romanian traditions and products that one misses can be found here! Very tasty!!

The prices are very high and the new owner seems to be very strange. The produce doesn't not have the expiration date label on it. I checked the price online for the product I bought and it was $1.50 but she charged me $4.00. She addition charged me another $1.20 for apparently using my credit card she didn't charge me last time. Eventually she gave me $1.00 back but she got argumentative until she realized she was wrong. There is not much diversity of food here also. I recommend the other Romanian Food Store, I believe is called Emanuel!!! There they are friendlier and they have better prices and more diverse food.

We are from Europe and since we moved here to the States (3 years ago) we wasn't able to eat a decent bread until now haha!! This place has the BEST bread!! And of course other treasures, we can't buy anywhere else.
