Great food and awesome service. I particularly recommend getting the Chili Verde with shrimp. They do a great job with that and the chorizo. I also loved supporting a local business in these crazy COVID times. It's a good place to go if you have yet to try them.

Tonight I had the wonderful opportunity to DJ for Clear Capital! As a DJ I get to try catering from all over the Sacramento area. What I can tell you is the food I had the pleasure of enjoying and took home tonight is purely amazing. It makes me feel as if I need to learn to cook, or just hire Arturo to come over 5 nights a week! You deserve 10 stars! Can't wait to see you and taste your food again soon!

I had the pleasure of working with Martha and Arturo for a private company event I was hosting. I wanted to entice my crew with something special over their hard work and I heard about the excellent cuisine of Taste for the Senses. Let's just say I was totally blown away with the excellence and taste of Arturo's cuisine. This is one situation where the namesake truly fits the ideology of the business. The cuisine really was a taste for the senses! Arturo and Martha humbly invited me and a guest into their home and presented us with various dishes to appease my guests. I was so excited and amazed by everything I tried but had to select a few of my favorites for the event. On the date of the event Taste for the Senses came early and began setting up at the venue. The team was extremely friendly and professional creating the perfect atmosphere. From the second the guests walked into the venue you can see the smiles and joy that appeared on their faces. The guests were presented with delectable appetizers on silver platters with various arrayments of Mediterranean cuisine. The crab cakes were my absolute favorite! Chef also prepares an exquisite ceviche served in martini glasses paired with a corn tortilla chip. The team is prepared to accommodate your every need even provide an excellent bartending service by Matthew. For beverages Chef Arturo prepares this fantastic non-alcoholic Agua Fresca dressed with hints of lime, mint, and sweet lemon, absolutely perfect for all ages and makes for an excellent mixer as well. The Aztec salad is a beautiful blend of fresh vegetables, black bean, corn, and an absolutely delicious dressing to boot. For the main course chef prepares a slow grilled Tri-tip which the multiple flavors immediately amaze your pallet upon the first bite. This dish is comparable to any excellent steakhouse, something I would imagine ordering at Morton's even. Chef Arturo tops off this beautiful dish with a light pesto sauce to amplify the flavor even more if at all possible. If Tri-tip isn't your preface chef also serves a wonderful flame grilled chicken. After the meal the team was prompt in clearing dishes without disturbing the atmosphere of the event. They cleaned the house and immediately began preparing a coffee and mixed arrayments of teas for everyone. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Taste for the Senses. From planning to execution they prepared an excellent experience and the flawless nature of their team amazed myself and my guests. I am certain my crew will be looking forward to the next time I plan an event with Taste for the Senses as you cannot find a better culinary experience that caters.

I had the best experience with Chef Arturo, his wife Martha, and their wonderful staff. We used their catering services for a very elegant, upscale wedding event last month and they came through for us...BIG TIME!!! Their hand made soaps are outstanding and our guests had a great time watching them prepared fresh during cocktail hour. The food was prepared onsite and was so fresh and colorful. The staff came dressed professional and really took care of the guests. Dinner service was quick and the meal was outstanding. I will be recommending this business to my future clients. Great job.

Martha and her team provided an excellent, delicious and elegant meal for 150 guests and exceeded our expectations, We wanted Mexican, and her Black mole with chicken, is one of the best moles I've ever tasted. Their food is authentic, fresh and beautiful. The service and presentation was elegant. Martha was easy to work with, flexible and had great suggestions and ideas to fill our needs. They ended up adding another salad, and an additional side dish. Martha offered to cook me a meal to present her food but since I live far from Sacramento, it wasn't feasible time wise. I took a chance and I did not regret it. I do recommend you clarify the details of what is included in the clean up process, TFS does pay overtime to their staff, and it quickly adds up when your paying 5 people $40 per hour. It's helpful to be clear to avoid unexpected costs. Overall, I was very pleased with choosing this company and would highly recommend it for your next private or public event.

My wife and I just came home from an event this caterer served. The event was for less than 200 people and was a simple menu of prime rib or chicken with mashed potatoes salad and dinner rolls. The chicken was so dry it was inedible and would love to say the prime rib was good but they didn't have enough to serve. The potatoes were lumpy but the gravy was fine. Salad mostly consisted of spinach and shredded carrots and the dinner rolls were actually sliced baguettes that I think were used from the appetizers they served. On a positive note their appetizers were fine. I do think this was the worst meal I have eaten all year and I'm not a picky eater. Good luck if you choose to use this business.

What more can I say but perfect in every way. Chef Arturo was personable as well as preparing an excellent meal, wife Martha is a jewel and the staff couldn't have been better. I gave an 80th birthday party with about 65-70 people in Berkeley. They drove from Sacramento through unusually bad traffic. They arrived calm and set right to work. Everyone praised them for the wonderful food and great service. When deciding what I wanted for the party, they were very helpful and never pushy. You won't be disappointed!!

I hired Taste for the Senses "Chef Arturo and Martha" for an employee appreciation event we hold at work each year. This year the theme was a "fiesta" so who better to provide the catering? With the goal of feeding upwards of 650 people in a 2-1/2 hour span, they had quite a challenge.From the moment I met them, Chef Arturo and Martha impressed me with their passion for their work, their interest in the project, the crafting of the menu and how the event would flow. Their attention to detail during the planning was highlighted by their good communications and prompt responses to questions.Since our event was in a downtown SF high rise building (on the patio) Martha worked with the SFFD to get all the necessary permits and also provided us with all required insurance. They also went so far as to rent space in a local kitchen so that they could ensure being at the event site on time...unfortunately, they were a little late because of the Salesforce convention which clogged up all downtown SF streets that day. But nevertheless, they were only a few minutes behind at the start time of the event as the employees lined up in anticipation.I don't recall how the staff were dressed but the event was very casual and so formal appearances were not of concern. Of course Chef Arturo is in his chef's outfit as he oversees the food stations.Our event was a huge success thanks in a great way to Chef Arturo and Martha. Everyone raved about the food. From the tamales to the tacos, the salads and the sopes, the menu was fresh, colorful and creative, providing a good selection for both the carnivores and vegetarians, as well as those interested in healthy eating.I would not hesitate to recommend Chef Arturo and Martha for your event.
