Banging definitely a good spot. Check it out! Ceviche tostadas are packed full of fish. A little heavy on the saltiness. I just add some pico and salsa to offset it.

Found this place while staying over one night in Auburn. It is located a block or two behind the old town main street. The inside is spacious and clean with plenty of seating. We noticed several families enjoying their meals. We were incredibly happy with our orders. Both ordered burritos, asked for them with red sauce (wet). They were so good! We also indulged on the tortilla chip and salsa bar. Should we ever find ourselves in Auburn we will come back.

I love coming up to Auburn! On my visit yesterday, we went to Taqueria La Herradura for lunch. It is easy to spot from the street and although there is plenty of parking, it still gets crowded with other restaurants competing to serve you. We walked into a bright restaurant. I like the big windows as you enter. It helps brings in so much light. The menu is up on the wall and above the register with so much to choose from. The man with glasses that helped us was so kind. We decided to go with the tortilla soup and a carnitas supper burrito. After we paid, we were given a number (41) and sat down at a table. There is a drink fountain available with sodas, horchata, raspberry tea, and my favorite, water, lol. Our food arrived hot and was very delicious. The man with glasses even offered to put our soup into a container for us. The only snag I got was when they refilled the horchata. It was not ready and it was very gritty, so I couldn't get my refill on the drink I had paid for. Delicious food and wonderful service... what more could you ask for!

My husband and I stop here every time we drive over the mountain back home. We've tried their breakfast burritos and regular burritos. It's all so delicious! The salsa bar is bomb and when they say extra hot salsa they mean it. The staff is super friendly and always helpful and nice.

Self serve chips and salsa bar with 11 different salsa and condiments. Posole, menudo, caldo de res, tortillas soup, caldo de camarone, and caldo de 7 mares available not just on the weekends like most taquerias, they are available EVERYDAY! All 6 soups! We got the tortilla soup, which was flavorful topped with fresh avocado slices, served with rice, chopped onions and cilantro. For the asado and ceviche plate, the there were 3-4 thin slices of grilled beef, delish! This place is one of the best taquerias I've tried. The girl cashier and the servers were all friendly and helpful, looking forward to going there again!

I was mostly impressed with this taqueria! The restaurant including the restroom was very clean. The staff was super friendly as well! They have a chip and salsa bar with fresh chips and very flavorful salsas. The hot, guacamole and cream salsas were outstanding! We were there for breakfast time but they serve the whole menu all day. I had the steak breakfast burrito for $10.99. It was a decent size with fresh meat, egg and potato. I did not detect any potato cheese which are supposedly on there. It was fresh but just not very flavorful. Luckily I loved the salsas so I used that and therefore it was an excellent meal. My partner had just rice and beans and said she would come back for it.I ordered a shrimp burrito to go for $13.99. For the price, seemed like it should have been larger. Not much rice or beans but a good amount of shrimp. My husband said it was bland as well.I will definitely go back. Next time, I will ask for salsa on any burrito I order. I will also use the great salsas at the bar which you can take for to-go orders as well.OH, the location is so convenient at the upper end of Lincoln Way where it is not as crowded. Great place!

I took my wife, daughter and grandson there last night. We were really disappointed in the taste of the food. Of course we compare to other Mexican restaurants in Roseville,Rocklin and it didn't measure up.We had burritos, and a chimichanga and a churro. All were just ok.The service was excellent and friendly but we should have gone next door to Ninja sushi one of our favorites.

Solid spot.Got to pastor tacos and a michelada. Both tasty and left me satiated. I'm happy.Guy taking orders up from was super friendly and the person dropping off order and picking up plates was polite. So service, great! Here on a Saturday night and it's pretty quiet. Not from the area so unsure if it's just typically quiet.

I had this DoorDashed, which means my rating might have been more if I was able to experience the salsa bar. I ordered multiple items with different proteins, the shrimp on the taco salad was my favorite. The carne asada lacked seasoning. The chile verde was good but lacked heat. The refried beans had some spice added to them that my taste buds couldn't quite figure out and just tasted odd compared to other refried beans I've had in the past.
