This is my second time here. Visited Dec. 15th..see my receipt as always.My new Fav place for budget friendly mexican food! I got 2 asada tacos for just under 6 bucks and they were full of meat! Flavors were awesome and enough to share!They have a complimentary salsa bar with chips and my favorite - pink habanero salsa! They have some other hot salsas ( all were good) plus mild options as well. They have indoor and outside dining along with a drive thru. They are located on Mill Street right off the freeway.They are well staffed and friendly. HUGO was pleasant and brought my food to go out quickly. Packed up some salsas and chips to enjoy!I am definitely coming back here more often! Good job!

I come here at least twice a week- the food is so authentic and delicious! Their drive thru is quick, staff is friendly and prices are very reasonable, highly recommend!

Added rice to a "no rice" burrito, forgot sour cream, didn't add double meat. Never again, very overpriced for a skinny burrito.

At first I was like "meh" but then I was like "yeah!". I think they had some growing pains when they first opened, but now it's maybe my favorite taqueria out here. The kids bean and cheese burrito is amazing (it's beans and cheese ). The quesadillas with carnitas are great! The carnitas solo are also real tasty. And that dark red salsa at the salsa bar is the best around. They don't even have it at the location next Grocery outlet. It's an exclusive! And can't forgot about that service! It's cool. Bus your own table? Not here! They do that for you. Drive thru is a lil slow. But I have a solution for that. They have a parking lot and you can just go in and order from the counter, have some chips and salsa while you wait for your food, take your shoes off, relax a bit

Everything about El Favorito is wonderful. The staff has a positive and helpful energy. The food that comes out of the kitchen is flavorful and presented well. My favorite dish is Mojarras, a whole talapia and served two different ways.This restaurant is in a remote part of Mill St. - a hidden gem!

Worst service you will find in Grass Valley. They'll get your order wrong 90% of the time. Foods average at best and employees are not helpful. Would recommend going elsewhere.

We're visiting the area and are staying close by and saw a line for this place. We figured we'd give it a try. Our expectations were already low, knowing this was a chain but thought it'd be better than fast food. Ordered chicken tacos, a carnitas torta and menudo and all were lacking flavor and the meat was very dry. Chips weren't even good. You're better off buying chips from the grocery store.
