Taqueria El Dorado

This place was excellent. Delicious food, great service, nice ambiance.We stopped by here while charging at the supercharger (walking distance from the restaurant) on the way to Tahoe. Tripita tacos were our favorite but the huge combo place had really fresh ingredients.Special shout out to the salsa bar with green salsa that had way more avocado / guacamole than normal and limes! Also self serve high quality chips.

Overall experience was meh/average. This isn't someplace I'd go out of my way to return to. The prices were kinda high, but the portion was huge. I'd like to see both reduce.I ordered chilaquiles, which is something that I get almost anywhere that it is available for breakfast. The eggs were overdone, and the salsa on the chips was off-tasting. The beans and rice were rather bland. The salsa bar was pretty good and made the food much better. If it weren't for the salsa bar, it would have been 2 stars.

First impressions upon entering were that the TVs were very loud and the overhead menu was overwhelming. I went in knowing I wanted chilaquiles so I didn't read all of it.The chips and salsa bar had a lot of options. I liked everything I tried from there. My food came out and it was a gigantic plate of food. The eggs were cooked perfectly and had nice, runny yolks. The beans tasted burnt. Overall, it was just OK and the price was pretty high. I can get a lot better chilaquiles in the East Bay for $5 less.

If you're in the mood for a quick Saturday snack, Taqueria El Dorado is the place to be! This spot is perfect for a spontaneous nacho craving, and they do not disappoint. The customized nachos are a standout--crispy chips topped with perfectly melted cheese, and not a trace of grease in sight. Each bite is a testament to their quality and care in preparation.The place itself is impeccably clean, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your visit is nothing short of delightful. For a satisfying, quick snack in a welcoming environment, Taqueria El Dorado is a must-visit.

This is a good taqueria staple. The basics are great; grilled chicken, carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor. All fresh and good labors. The burritos are perfect in the run, but the nachos are best eaten there. They have missed a couple times like giving me a veggie burrito instead of my pork al pastor burrito, but I still go back because for the most part they do a good job.

This little taqueria is tucked in the far south back part of the shopping plaza. This place is on my top two favorite local taquerias. This is my local go to for Cerviche and any seafood tostadas. The crispy tacos are pretty darn tasty as well. My favorite thing on the menu is the Cerviche tostada.This place makes one of the best seafood tostada in the area. It taste and looks fresh. It is topped with a generous slices of avocado. Gorgeous looking. Flavorful citrus marinade, tenderly firm diced seafood piled high on a crisp tostado with a light spread of a what tasted like and reminded me of a lighter, thinner version of mayo. It is soooo delicious. Plus the recipe is not overwhelmed with cilantro which I am not a fan of. They always deliver on their seafood tostada. The fried whole fried tilapia is also a winner in my book. Also one of the best around. It is seasoned well and fried to the point with it being moist but with a crisp exterior. It is best eaten as a dine in. I luv how they plate the fish. They just put in a bit more effort.The crispy asada and ground beef tacos are also pretty darn tasty. The taco comes with sour cream and guacamole which I always ask for in the side so the taco shell does not get too wet. They plate the taco with extra lettuce and pico. So much so that you will have extra after dressing your taco. Bonus, you got a mini salad. Talking about extras, they have a complementary chips and salsa bar. The chips are kept in a chip warmer, they stay fresh n crisp. The salsa bar has a nice variety and a good number of choices.

This is definitely one of the best Mexican places to go if you're in the area. They have Tesla Superchargers in the plaza, and my family and I decided to stop somewhere for lunch. Why not have Mexican cuisine? We walked in, and the whole place smells heavenly, and as I walked by some of the tables, the food made my mouth water just by looking at it. The bathrooms are incredibly kept, and have amenities of bag hooks and a little shelf, which was super helpful. We went to place our order, and the menu had a plethora of options. My mom got fajitas, my brothers got enchiladas, a kids burrito, and kids tacos, my dad an enchilada taco plate, while I got a super burrito. The prices are beyond reasonable, and as soon as we got our plates, we were in shock. The portions were huge! Normally, in places with large portions the food is mediocre. Not here. The food was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and ready within 5 minutes. Not to mention the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful. If you have a party that eats small portions, sharing might be for you (Just kidding, it's so good you'll eat a whole plate yourself!). They have complementary chips and salsa as well.10/10 recommend, will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the great meal, Taqueria El Dorado!

This is my first time having this place and it's amazing. My gf told me about it before and said her family has always been coming here. I'm really glad I tried it, I can't wait to come back. The food was really good and the portions were so big and they could last a second meal. Very good flavor and an unlimited menu options. I could come here everyday for a month and not get bored.10/10. Hands down the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Plus the music is really nice here too.

Average food. Staff is not very friendly.Please be very careful of what you order and that is what they took it as.I ordered a rice & beans plate for my 2 year old. Lady charged me for something else and then when the food arrived she told me I never ordered it. So then I had to pay more money to get it.Food is good for construction workers and contractors but tbh that's because there are no good taco trucks in town.

I literally love this place. I have been coming here for along time and the staff is just so friendly. Always happy to see me come in. They almost know my order by heart!
