This was my first time visiting here. It was recommended by my daughter and her fiancé. Inside was clean. My mouth was watering looking at their salsa bar. I tried the chicken and asada tacos. Delicious! Some of the yummiest street tacos I have eaten. Rice and beans??? So good! I loved the grilled serranos too. Glad I tried this place out. They have a huge menu and can't wait to try something else next visit!UPDATE: went back again 3/26/24 and tried out their Al Pastor tacos with grilled pineapple. 10/10!! I'm craving them again! Must try!!

Yet another hidden not so hidden gem that has Mexican food that reminds me of home (Southern California). Love the salsa bar. Loved every item we tried. It's clean and the workers were extremely nice! I want to go back right now.

Excellent taqueria food!! I ordered the altos taco which had the most flavorful pastor meat, grilled pineapple, onions, cilantro and cheese grilled on tortillas. Every bite was bursting with authentic Mexican flavors..it came with a salsa, which only added to the wonderful flavors of this taco.I also ordered a cabeza street taco, and it was delicious as well. The meat was so tender and there was plenty of it! He ordered the carne asada burrito which he enjoyed, but after he had a bite of my altos taco, he had wished he had gotten that instead lol it was the clear winner! The dining room was clean and had plenty of tables and booths, and there was a good salsa bar with fresh tasting chips. Nothing stale there ;) Service was friendly as well.

Close to home, super great food at a very affordable price. We've been back 4 times now, and still haven't had a dish we didn't absolutely LOVE. Highly recommend the flautas (they're made with steak!). The service is always friendly. A little warm in the evening in summer, but worth the heat for such great food

A spacious and clean restaurant with plenty of parking available. Their prices are very reasonable. The cashier was friendly.Their carnitas was very flavorful. My only gripe is that they gave me cold rice. Why is the rice cold??

It's ok for what your expecting. Much like Adalbertos and Betos but without a drive through. We got there early so it wasn't busy but the food came relatively quick. When you enter the counter to order is straight ahead and to the right there is an open chip and salsa bar. The chip boats in my opinion are too small but they still are functional. We ordered a wet chimiganga ( 2.95 or approximate upcharge for wet) with al pastor as the meat choice. I ordered the huevos rancheros with only one tortilla ( they still put 2). The wet burrito was made just how my fiance likes it, very crispy and the sauce and inside had really good flavor. Come with sour cream, guacamole and pico de Gallo on the side. My huevos rancheros were ok at best. The sauce they put on the eggs was lacking flavor and the rice it came with tasted a little old. I wish they asked me how I want my eggs but it's ok I never specified and that's my fault. It comes with beans also which were actually very good and had flavor. It also comes with a side salad or sorts, undressed. Unsure if I'll be back but it can be a runner up when making a restaurant choice.

This taqueria has no business being this good in the Sac area but I'm all for it lol. Honestly the taco game around these parts is kinda *just* okay in terms of quality, but the tacos here in particular.....hoooly moooly this place is an anomaly!I mean just look at my attached photo! The tacos were amazing as they look. No skimping on the T-E-N-D-E-R meat. Cabeza meat was extra succulent (one of the best that I've tried really). Asada meat wasn't dry-leathery at all. Iconic slight sweetness present in the pastor meat. I guess as a very mild nitpick, some of the meat pieces in the tacos were overly fatty, but it wasn't something some salsas from the salsa bar couldn't fix lol. Speaking of the salsa bar, top-notch complimentary AYCE chips. Warm and super crispy because they were freshly fried. No stale chips here! What I wouldn't easily recommend though is the horchata as I found it to be a bit overly sweet.Service was very attentive and this food spot isn't even the order-at-the-table kind! The lady who brought the ordered food kindly asked if additional condiments were needed and she readily cleaned off the table once the food-devouring was finished.Clean dining area and off to the side you can even witness a staff member making use of a tortilla press (yuuup handmade corn tortillas were used for those tacos). Great casual ambiance with ample natural lighting.Okay I'm done fangirling about this taqueria. You know what to do. :)

I love this taqueria. It is a fairly new and a welcomed addition in the Arden-Arcade area. They have an amazing salsa bar. All of them are very tasty. I love their carnitas tacos. They have that awesome crisp which makes them exceptionable. I've also had their Carne Asada tacos, and burrito. The meat is flavored to perfection. Absolutely delicious. Their Chili Relleno is also very good. I just love them. If you are in the area or looking for a new lunch spot try this place out. You will love it!!

Had an unexpected morning off, so I decided to try someplace new for breakfast! So glad I stopped in here.I was sad to see it wasn't busier, but perhaps this review will help. If you enjoy breakfast, come here!! The folks are friendly and helpful.I had the chilaquiles with red sauce, eggs over easy, and iced tea to drink. The salsa bar is well-stocked with options! The chilaquiles were really tasty! Lots of sauce, melty cheese, grilled onions, eggs perfectly cooked. All of the tables and seating were clean and ready for you to enjoy some great food!
