Out of all the options they had , I ordered Aloo Tikki Chat and I'm glad that I got it. It was a perfect balance of spice, tanginess and sweet. The serving person, Komal was informative polite, and nice.

Was at Costco and decided to check out this store. I was also wanting to make Dubai chocolate and hoping they had the shredded phyllo. Unfortunately they did not but it's such a fun store to walk through. Spices are priced very reasonable. Their refrigerated/frozen section is amazing! Bought a box of samosas to fry at home. OMG, they were awesome. I also like that their shopping bag isn't plastic.

Taj Supermarket, Elk Grove's International Grocery Haven!We always stop by Taj Supermarket when we visit family in Elk Grove. They have a large inventory of international goods that may not be available in other supermarkets. Many of these items come from various corners of the world. For example, you can find Indian, Pakistani, or Afghani goods and Samoan, Tongan, or Fijian products. The supermarket is spacious and well-organized. The staff are very helpful if you're having trouble finding an item or have a question.I have been mostly interested in some candies or spices that are hard to come by elsewhere, but there is a lot more there, be it edibles or other household items like pots and pans.Their prices are very reasonable, certainly more reasonable than any place I have found in San Francisco! And they are very well stocked as mentioned before. Visit them if you are in the area. They are in the same mall as Costco.

Realized there was a food truck in front of their market and just wanted to drop by for a snack. Order their masala fries and it tasted like your typical seasoned fries. It was packed with fries, so it's definitely shareable. I just didn't like how greasy the to go box and the ketchup packages were. There was grease all over the box and it was super messy. Also, I think they should leave it in to fry a little longer, because the bottom of the fries ended up being really soggy. Overall, for the amount, it wasn't bad for $4, but can use some improvement.

Just moved in to Sacramento from the Bay and husband wants to try cooking Biryani's and yelping for some ingredients and found this supermarket. Surprisingly this supermarket is big compared to where we use to from the Bay Area. They have everything here from fresh veggies, spices, snacks name it..it's also amazing that you can have free hot chai tea at the entrance with cookies cashiers are also friendly. They also have food trucks in front of supermarket serving from Thursday to Sunday but no chance to try the food since we are bound to cook chicken biryani's

This is review for the food trucks only. Food is good but they are super slow. Seating is inadequate. Also they often bill you incorrectly on large orders so make sure you check before you leave.
