Taichi Bubble Tea

Their boba and food was surprisingly good. I don't expect too much out of boba shops, especially ones that offer food/snacks but this place actually knows what they're doing. I got a wintermelon milk tea with brown sugar boba. I should've asked for it less sweet but it was my first time and I wanted to gauge if I'd like how sweet they make it. I also ordered their basil popcorn chicken and their fried geso, which is squid. Those were reaaaally good. Their chicken was actually juicy and I wasn't expecting them to deep fry the basil too; that added a nice herby taste that complemented the chicken. The squid was well-prepared too and had nice breading to it. My only real nitpick were the prices but it's to be expected nowadays and I was happy with my order.The place was kept fairly clean and I liked the layout of the place. I didn't like how I had to clean the seats and table myself since someone before us had left a bunch of crumbs all over the booth but I guess the staff didn't notice. There's a counter where you can grab sauce packets, utensils, and napkins. And a different counter has the trash and a bin to put dirty dishes and trays.There's one outlet every two tables, above the booths. I can see how it'd be annoying to use if you're trying to study here but I can't blame them for that. At least they have free wifi and a place to even charge your devices. There's about 8 tables I believe, and iirc, there were maybe 6 outlets. I don't think the tables in the middle of the shop have an outlet.Overall, I'd come here again to try other drinks and maybe take a shot at their poke and sushi.

This boba spot is not worth it. We ordered two brown sugar milk teas and they tasted like water mixed in with powdered milk. No tea flavor, no brown sugar syrup, and the boba pearls themselves were not tasty or the right texture. Customer service was not welcoming either. Really disappointed. I would've asked for a refund but I tasted my drink after getting it to go.

Such a great spot in the Sac area for poke, boba, and more! It's really the perfect lunch spot. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a tasty lunch.

Taichi is a hidden gem! I appreciate their unique flavors, and full menu. Most boba shops only have light bites, but Taichi offers poke, ramen, and a variety of onigiri. I tried the unagi onigiri, which was warm, fresh, and tasty. The peach and rose milk tea is a specialty drink I haven't seen anywhere else, and it keeps me coming back. Had to update my review because I enjoyed my experience yesterday much better this time around! We got the beef rice bowl again which still hits the spot and it's a generous portion of meat. This time I had the poke burrito and it was very filling! I liked all of the toppings I had in there and they had more variety than most places, like spicy crab meat, tamago, and kimchi. I also love that they don't charge for avocado! There were more toppings that I wanted but didn't select because I was worried it wouldn't all fit in a burrito, so I need to go back and try the rest! I liked the drinks better this time also, my favorite was the strawberry yakult which the worker recommended to me. The boba was chewy and fresh also. The mango InfruiTea was refreshing but I wish the mango was cut into small chunks and was ripe so you could also eat them! I picked mango boba from the toppings menu but didn't know it was popping boba, so just be weary if you pick that. The Taro Zang Zang is very picturesque - good for a non caffeine option! I was also impressed at how fast everything came out. At some places it takes longer to just get one drink! From ordering to getting our beef rice bowl and drinks, it was 7 minutes! And another couple minutes for the burrito. Great spot to come hang out for a meal AND boba. I like that they have a private parking lot too since this is a busy street.

Nice little shop that has great decorations. Even though I only got boba, this place also has ramen, poke and plates other snacks. The staff are nice and helpful. The drinks/food comes out timely. The drink I got was actually really good. The taro on the side of the cup was really good. The cashier even gave me a tip to shake the drink well before putting the straw. I will have to remove one star because the boba was harder than I prefer. I would definitely want to come back to try some ramen and poke. But definitely cool spot that has it all.

I DoorDash Taichi! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband made a sushi-ritto and I had rice bowl. Items I wouldn't get again in my bowl: broccoli was raw, ginger I wish was on the side and cucumber were too big I chopped it up. We also ordered fries but the time it got to us it was soggy and cold. Also got a lychee tea with lychee jelly. No straw came up the meal, so I used my own straw and than fished out the jelly.I can't wait to go in person and try something different !

I drove by this place so many times and finally got to try their bobas drinks. Parking is limited and always busy in this area. The inside is nice with ample amount of tables and chairs. I've ordered the Mango Black Tea with Lychee Jelly and less sweet. It's my go-to drink. It was alright. It didn't blow my mind and I definitely had better. I also ordered the Daigona Coffee (Taichi Special). Perhaps it was the oat milk but it tasted off to me. Not bad, but also not good. My son had the regular Milk Tea with Boba. He said it was alright. Despite the mix and lower rated reviews, I still wanted to try this place for myself. They also serve ramen, poke, rice bowl and snacks. Hoping their food is better than the drinks.

Gabby was SO incredible! Everyone was so nice at this location, we are incredibly happy with our experience here. I would highly recommend coming here!! The poke is so yummy too! We love all the cute decorations.

Nice customer service and decent food but I ordered 2 deep fried sushi rolls and it took an hour for it to come out. Ended up just taking it to go. Do not order sushi here unless you are okay with an hour wait. Update: ate the sushi at home and it does not taste like actual sushi. Nothing but rice in my sushi. Disappointed. Waste of time and money for sushi
