Tacos La Nueva

First time coming here. I'm always super excited when I find a Michoacán style restaurant. I ordered the enchilada plate with morisqueta and bistec. The flavors were on point and I loved that it was a little spicy. However, the morisqueta was pretty salty, I wanted to tell them but didn't because I didn't feel comfortable. The enchiladas were great but they could have used more cabbage. We also got an order of birria and that was just okay, I didn't ask what kind of meat it was but to me it tasted like goat. The restaurant itself was very clean including the bathroom. The service was good we didn't interact as much but when we ordered the food and when they took it to our table it was fine.

This is real authentic Mexican food Michoacan style cooking the food and service was great , it's not fancy but it's clean I'll definitely be back and I recommend this place.

Ran upon this little taco place today. I got the Carnitas Taco. It was very good. The tortilla was handmade, and the meat portion was good and not fatty like some places can be. The taco comes with onions and cilantro as well as some grilled onions on the side. The chips and salsa are also good and fresh tasting. The service is friendly too. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area.

WOW! I had never heard of this place until I found them on Instagram and won a free item. The place is located in a small parking lot next to a mini-mart, with limited parking, so you must get there early. Inside is a decent size, with plenty of seats for all. I ordered three of the quesatacos with consomè, and I'm glad I did. These were some of the best tacos I have had. They are crunchy; fill them with cilantro and onions, add spicy sauce and dip it into the consomè. They even pack them, so they travel well. Again, I am delighted with what I have ordered. For the item, I won I had the Menudo bowl also packed very nicely comes with everything you need for your delicious meal. They also included a beverage on the house, which tastes fantastic; the flavor is unique and refreshing. This is a must-try place.quesatacos 5/5, menudo 5/5 beverage 5/5

Absolutely delicious Birria! We went on a Saturday at noon and they were all out of menudo by then. Took two Birrias home. They come with tortillas, salsas, lime, and chopped onion/cilantro. Delicious!ESP (Una Birria absolutamente deliciosa! - algo salada, pero se les perdona. Fuimos un sábado a medio día y ya se les había terminado el menudo. Así es que nos llevamos dos Birrias. Llevan incluido sus tortillas, salsas, limones, y cebolla/cilantro. Riquísimo!!!)

Hat tip to the first reviewer for mentioning birria--I had never sampled this goat meat soup, so I came to try it. Verdict: very tasty, with tender chunks and shreds of goat meat in a well-seasoned chili based broth. I had only sampled goat in Indian curries, so it was nice to try a new preparation for this hearty, slightly gamey (in the best way) meat. I did find the broth to be a tad salty for my taste, but overall it was very flavorful, with a nice taste of chilies, but not so spicy that it nukes your tastebuds. It's a nice, mild level of well-balanced spice. A half dozen white corn tortillas and garnishes of lime wedges and minced onion & cilantro rounded out the meal.Customer service was very friendly, both at the counter and with workers servicing the tables. Incidentally, the gal at the front counter mentioned they serve *only* goat meat on Saturday and Sunday, so keep that in mind--they can't serve you, say, a carnitas taco on the weekend. :)There was an early lunch rush when I visited today (6/25/17). I showed up just before 11 a.m. and the place was absolutely slammed--all tables full, and a fifteen minute wait in line to order. Then, by the time I left around noon, there was barely a line at the counter, and several open tables. I don't know if that's a trend, but just another thing to keep in mind.While the birria was yummy, next time I'll just get a plate of goat meat with the sides and garnishes, as I saw many others doing. Obviously I enjoyed my meal enough that there will definitely be a next time! And more.

I've been going to the place many times in the past ,but today was the worst experience I've had 1 the food was extremely salty I kindly asked the server if I could get it redone or a refund Fabiola denied me the refund or the remake and to add to it she was EXTREMELY rude saying if I don't like the food the way they make it I can leave after paying for all my food I asked for a receipt and I was denied for that to if I could rate this place a negative stat I would Fabiola needs to work on her customer service so

Tried this place for the first time about a weeks ago. I was not impressed. $23.00 for a cup of broth?!!!!!!!!! what in the name of god! the location warns you not to park in a certain area because your car will get towed. Where are you supposed to park?! They close at 4 but we got there at 2:30 and they were sweeping and mopping while customers were still there. the food was not the best and highly overpriced. I can highly recommend other places such as Alanzos coffee shop that has way better food at a cheaper price. save your money and time.
