Tacos El Rey

Hubby and I just came by for some lunch. He was craving tacos. Came over to Tacos El Roy #2 (cute). Lady taking our order was super sweet. I ordered 3 asada tacos mild, hubby ordered 6 asada tacos, with 3 mild 3 hot with a side of grilled onions and jalapeños. Gave us a beeper and only waited less than 10mins. Flavors were perfect. Meat was seasoned well. Mild and hot sauces were perfect. Not too spicy. Everything was fresh. Definitely will be back.

Had this earlier this week. Prices did go up. But the flavors did not disappoint. The tacos are seasoned well. Flavorful and the spice hits the spot Definitely best tacos I've had in Rancho. Just check ahead incase the truck isn't there

Stopped by their truck on Folsom BLVD tonight, was looking for some longanizas guatemaltecas and chorizos to make some shucos tomorrow and while the Guatemalan market was closed decided to grab some tacos and was glad we did, because they were 5 stars.Ever since we moved here from the Bay Area, we've had trouble finding good Mexican food, but we found some here tonight and went back to buy some more and bring it home for the kids and they liked it too. I'd reccomend the al pastor, it was on point. The carne asada was good too. The lingua needs some seasoning or marinade, but was still decent.Edit: Definitly will return if they are still there next week. The quesadillas looked real good and according to their FB, they have quesabirria. Workers wore gloves while handling the food, didn't check for a health inspection sticker, if you care about that type of thing, but my stomach didn't have any problems besides wanting to eat more tacos.

Delicious and fresh food, made to order. Has open salsa bar with fresh jalapeños and pickled carrots.Cater to many different eating styles. Their tortillas and beans are vegan.Delicious!!

I'm completely unsatisfied with this place. I ordered a carne asada burrito, cabeza and lengua tacos. The asada was overly salted and the meat ratio for all three items were off. They are also very pricey in comparison to other taco trucks that I have been to. I might give this place another shot but I know it won't be anytime soon.

Service was good food was very good but the only down part was the horchata it was watered down a bit but besides that everything was great

Food poisoning ruined Christmas for us this year. We have been eating and enjoying the food from this truck for years. Unfortunately, in addition to slightly messing up our orders (happens every once in a while, not a huge deal), we both had horrendous gastrointestinal illness within 8-24 hours of eating here a few days ago. I was so sick that I had a fever, chills extreme vomiting and diarrhea, dizziness, dehydration and missed all of Christmas eve and Christmas day this year. So, I want to support a local small business and have for many years, but I can no longer trust what I order from this truck to be safe to eat. Take your chances. Happy New Year - I lost over 5 pounds of water and everything else in my gastrointestinal tract.

We always get the bean, rice, and cheese burrito. It's so good. Their salsas are my absolute favorite. The service is quick and they are really nice.

Food has no flavor and was very cold and dry. We waited for our food for 45 minutes only to throw it away when we got home
