I heard some positive things about this Mexican food stand from some friends and so forth. So we decided to try this stand. We ordered all different types of tacos, burritos, tortes and got all their salsas and other essentials. Once we got home, set up everything for dinner. First thing we all tried was the salsa it was watered down and tasted like water and lime that was the first disappointment. Steak no flavor just blah. Chicken was not any better had a weird taste to it. Could not put my finger on it. Pork was ok better than steak and chicken. With that being said especially with the salsa was the worst. I understand too that people that come from different areas of Mexico and so forth do things a little different. Maybe they are good for some but not our cup of, so I am sorry to write about this and add this to review, but maybe they just had an off day. My suggestion would be to try the Mexican Taco Stand that we have been going for a few years. They are also on Watt and cross street on Karl drive further North on Watt. We have never been disappointed all their salsa is really good and chicken, steak and Pork is outstanding. There is so much competition now of day.

This place was great, and a ton of people came through while we were eating there. With a number of options on the menu, there's something for everyone. The smell was intoxicating while we were there, and it really added to the experience. It made my mouth and stomach eager to welcome the food that was being prepared for us. They asked our preference on how to make the tacos: with or without onion and cilantro, which is a nice touch. Amounts are really subjective and up to personal preference, so it was nice it allowed flexibility for all individuals. The tacos were great, and I can't complain about any of them. The seasoning was solid on the particular meats I chose. The al pastor was tantalizingly rotating on the trompo, and we watched as the glistening meat was cut specifically for our order. Knowing it's that fresh off the spit is amazing. We also got a papa, and that was delicious. It came with a number of tortillas, so it's incredibly filling due to it being a large amount of food. The setup was well lit and even had a place to sit and eat, if that's what you prefer. They also had a good amount of salsas y más on anothrt table. They had some salsas in a squeeze bottle, which I personally like as an addition. It makes it easy to add a particular amount or to fill up the little cups cleaner. With a parking lot to themselves, it was easy to be there.I'll definitely be back.

I do really like coming here with my friend most of time because this is best tacos ever i tried in Sacramento! Most tacos i tried and i couldn't find what i like. Cabeza, leguna & al pastor street tacos are my fav to order every time! The service is pretty good because it wasn't crowded or waiting in lines. The service is pretty well and the lady who take our orders and every time I tell them "no onions" , i do appreciate that they will eventually take onions off for me because I don't like onions so thank you! Coming back super soon!!

We're not from Sac, but decided to try this place on our way south. Went around 10:30pm on a chilly Saturday night, No line. Ordered carne asada tacos, pastor tacos, a carne asada burrito and a horchata. Order was ready super quick. I like how the cheese was melted onto the quesadilla for the burrito. Great portions! I don't normally go for the Pastor meat, but this place makes it tasty. Carne asada and horchata were yummy too. I'd come again if I was in the area. The place where they're stationed at is next to a small building and is hard to miss because of their lights around the canopy, but the parking lot is dim lit.Cash only and open until midnight. Yelp didn't have their actual address. I had to go on their instagram for it. 3501 Watt Ave, Sacramento, CA 95821

Came here on a Friday night and it was super busy and the line was never ending! Waited about 30-35 mins for our taco order and it's cash only! The al pastor was cooking on a wheel and was cut fresh whenever ordered. The tacos were pretty decently priced and there's a self serve section for the condiments and salsa. Felt like the meat needed to be seasoned a tad more but was still great!

Street tacos to perfection!! Cash only. Sacramento keeps on surprising me with hidden gems, this place is absolutely delicious! Reminds me of tacos stands in Mexico and the flavor is just as good. They have tortas, burritos, and other items- I ordered asada and Al pastor tacos, topped with their salsa, they were perfect! Horchata and agua de piña were available. One table to sit, but tbh you can just stand and eat your tacos. Service is fast! Location is an outdoor stand in the corner of Whitney and Watt.I recommend this place as the place to be for street tacos! Don't forget, cash only

One of those places where after you eat and immediate think "this place is easily one of the top Mexican foods I've had!" The pastor burrito and cabeza tacos were extremely flavorful and juicy! I wish this place was closer, I'd be going all the time!

Love the tacos here, some of the best I've had in Sacramento. They make their own tortillas fresh in front of you, and have a trompo producing perhaps the best al pastor I've ever had.I'm taking one star off because they aren't the most reliable on their hours. Multiple times I've driven over, craving a taco, only to find the location deserted, even when it's within their open hours listed here. It's a small operation, so it makes sense they would need to close unexpectedly at times, I just wish there were a way to find that out before I planned on getting dinner there.
