Tacos 65 is so bomb! I got the carne asada tacos along with the orange sauce. GET THE ORANGE SAUCE. I love that they don't skimp out on their protein and everything is fresh. Everything was soooo good! Expect to want more and to get into a food coma afterwards lol. The restaurant itself has limited seating, with just a few window benches to sit at, so I would say this is more of a grab-and-go spot! Highly recommend if you've been looking for a solid taco spot in Sac!

Best burrito in Sacramento! We got their asada burrito, pork taco, and chicken taco. All were 10/10. Flavors were great and relatively quick service given how busy they were. There isn't much indoor seating but it won't matter since you can get it to go and enjoy it anywhere you want. It's unassuming from the outside but I highly recommend trying it!

Man, this place is a gem. Small, cozy taco spot with handmade tortillas and legit adobada. Tried the tacos, and they were packed with flavor, meat was seasoned perfectly, fresh toppings, just how it should beThis kind of flavor makes me miss home back in Mexico City. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. Honestly blows most of the "Mexican" spots around here out of the water. While a lot of places try too hard to be trendy, Tacos 65 is just focused on giving us real flavor and quality tacos, burritos, and moreAnd with the way the economy is right now, portions are hefty and crazy worth the price. Way better value than even a lot of the street vendors. Can't see how anyone could have much to complain about except that there's only one locationIf you want real Mexican food, this is it. Absolute must-try

I wish I could have tried this place in person. But I door dashed it instead. But even with door dash, I was surprised at the quality and quantity in food. Some other places will skimp on the protein, but I thought this place was generous with the amount of meat in their tacos. The tacos & the rice were delicious. I need to come back and try this place hot and fresh. I also thought the salsas were great. The prices were justified. This place is now one of my favorites.

This is one of our favorite tacos/burritos spot. It's take-out only. They do have limited highchairs and counter space but I always see people sitting there waiting for their orders. This place gets pretty busy. I suggest calling 10-15 minutes in advance before picking up. Also, parking is very limited too. It's a small busy parking lot shared with few other businesses. I usually park a block over in the residential area. Chicken (or meat of your choice) Quesadillas Good portion of chicken and cheese. The tortilla is crispy and still warm. The leftover still taste good the next day. Platos 3 tacos. I like that they only use one tortilla instead of double at most places. I don't need the extra carbs. They don't skimp on the meat and ingredients. You can pick whatever meat you want. It comes my rice and beans. So good! Burritos My boys order this every time. The portion is huge and packed tight with ingredients. They don't skimp! They have 4 types of salsa. We stick with the salsa verde or one level up. The other two is death! Simple menu. The guy that takes the order and work the front desk is super friendly.

Ordered lunch from Tacos 65 during a visit to Sac. It's a small restaurant with limited seating indoors (8-10 chairs), most people were ordering take out or picking up togo orders. Theres a grill outside that was used to cook meat which smelled delicious as you walk up. I ordered the combo plate. The tacos were good overall. The tortillas tasted fresh and I liked the avocado that came with it. I tried chicken, pork, and mushroom -- the pork and mushroom were my favorites. They have an option to add cheese and a tortilla to the tacos which I will try next time. 4 stars overall. A good spot if you're craving tacos to-go, but not if you're looking for a dine-in restaurant.

I've been on the hunt for the best burritos in Sacramento since I moved here over 6 years ago. I'm gonna say it now.... This place has the best adobada tacos and burritos in Sacramento. The Mexican food here is actually comparable to the Bay, LA and San Diego. No lie. I can only speak on the adobada meat though (marinated pork). The store is very small with limited seating. The parking lot is small also. I wish they opened a 2nd location in downtown or Natomas lol. It's my new favorite place to get a burrito.

I needed comfort food today: tacos... boy I wasn't disappointed! Being from LA, I cried a little when I saw the price per taco but given that I've been wanting to try this place and that I noticed that they're more Tijuana style (with the avocado and handmade tortillas) I decided to go for it. I got the three taco plate: 2 asada, 1 adobada with rice and beans. Straight off the bat, the adobada is the better of the two- so flavorful and you can taste the sweet pineapple. The asada was also good though w/ a smoky flavor from the grill. The tacos were stuffed with meat too so I actually struggled to finish the three. Rice and beans were good but the tacos are where it's at. I was able to get all salsas and wow! All of them were so good and actually spicy without being overpowering. My favorite was the green salsa and one of the red ones. Got my food super fast but I came around closing time and the service overall was great. Only thing I would add is I wish the tortillas were a little warmer and they can definitely add chips and salsa to their menu- salsas are that good! I'm definitely coming back though.

The adobada here has amazing flavor, it's not the slightest bit greasy, and their burritos are massive! Grilled to perfection, and even served with grilled onions and peppers. You can't beat the price either!
